Yeah, Bearsch's got me for 797.00 worth of rotors and brakes for a Hummer H3. Asked them to give me the old rotors back...just as I thought, not a scratch or groove one in them. I will never go there again.

On 9/30/11 Mary Jo brought her Hummer H3 to our facility to be repaired, complaining of vibration and noise from the brake system. After a thorough test drive we noticed a severe vibration from the rotors that was evident through the steering wheel and brake pedal. Upon a complete inspection of the brake system and measuring the pads and rotors, we recommended replacing the front and rear pads and rotors. We contacted the customer and explained that due to bad surface rust (vs. grooves or wear), we could not refinish the rotors to a proper thickness, and she agreed to the work and the price. Upon completion the vehicle was test driven and no noise or vibration was noted. The customer picked up the vehicle and we did not receive any questions or complaints as to the work performed. Mary Jo has visited our facility in the past and is always a pleasure to do business with and have as a customer. Bearsch's United Auto Center has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

We used to take our 6 vehicles to this shop for all regular maintenence. This included oil changes, new tires, tire rotations, brakes, inspections, etc. We took a brand new $44k SUV there for it's first oil change. Brought it home and it was leaking oil. Called them and the issue was a careless oil fill and some oil ran on the motor and onto the engine cover underneath. I just delt with the issue. 3rd visit (to them) to change oil with this vehicle, they recommended replacing the air filter. I said OK. They replaced it and I went on my way. 4th visit to change oil, I inspected vehicle after oil change and noticed the air filter cover was not seated correctly. Obviously it was from the previous visit when they replaced the air filter. I brought it to Charlie's attention and he was very rude and arrogant to me. Stating, that vehicles really do not need air filters and how he ran his '69 Chevelle without an air filter for years. This was totally rediculious. I later found out that the owner's Grandson was doing oil changes which led to the air filter not being put back on correctly. This happened about 4 years ago. Have not been back since, nor will they ever see me again. Also took a Corvette there to be inspected for a friend and it had a nice new door ding in it, or door gash rather (fiberglass).
In other words, there are too many other options. Also, the service manager Charlie needs to go. He is very rough around the edges.
