Veterans Day, 2009

Thanks to all the soldiers out there now and those that came before us. Because of you, Americans and an immigrant like myself can live in this great place. Easy to say for me, because I didn't have to go out and do what they did- even if they weren't in combat. We should remember every day not to let them down. If I am called, I will serve.

Goose, I don't always agree with your opinion, but today I would shake your hand and stand in deference to your past. Thanks.

Thanks Paul. We do not agree most of the time but I think we do a pretty good job of being civil and honorable to one another and I appreciate the comment.

I was working yesterday, but a veteran friend went to the service at Holland High School field house and he said it was a wonderful dedication to Veteran's Day. Did anyone else go?
