My friend said that she has never seen any snakes at beach either. We both swim there. DO NOT PLAY WITH SNAKES! you are so full of crap!!! I lived there and would not let my gk's swim at the beach. There were tons of snakes and you could sit on the picnic table at sundown and just watch them swim all over. Then at the end of last summer a friend came out of the water screaming and it was a snake at the ankle. It bit!!!

We lived there for a year and half left Nov 2011. At first we loved until we started knowing stuff. Its full of drug dealers, rapist, murders, and arsonists. We loved the lake, I'd walk the kids to it at least 3x a week and catch good fish in it. Lots of the park is marsh land. Its a money pit properties will never gain value and they expect you to pay yearly fees per lot for living there yet they never fix anything. Yes there are some good ppl there and some nice places but the majority of the place is the slums. Luckily we had 2 very good loyal guard dogs and before we left I ended up sleeping with a big gun. IT IS NOT A SAFE PLACE. Yes the cops are good but because its so far out it takes a min of 15-20min for even a firetruck to get to you. Which can be pretty scary when there's a raging fire surrounded by woods and you have kids and no transportation at the time. Definitely think twice before you move there.

if you are rfally interested in buying property at lakewood all you would have to do is come out ,find something you want and make an offer. most owners would love to sale their property for what they have in it, trustees included...you should talk to the coffee co officialx , they tell some good jokes about lakewood park, theres alot of truth to most of them. hope you find this helpful.

I had been following a tempting ad on craigslist for several months, and finally drove out to check it out this past weekend. I should have known the price was "too good to be true", and quickly learned the WHY behind it. I'm not going to re-hash all the things that have already been said over the past ten pages, but I do want to add this... I personally believe the arsonist or arsonists likely want to buy up land for cheap, knowing when they finally own the entire "Monopoly board", they can clean it up and own the entire park. If I were law enforcement interested in stopping the arson, I'd take a good look at the deeds and see if anyone is buying up lots- especially those that have been burned or seemingly random, unconnected lots all over the park. Too bad the ***holes ALWAYS ruin everything for the rest of us.:0/

You should have put your neighbor to sleep!!!!
