Thoughts of Monee mayoral race?

The present mayor has emotional issues: megalomania, compulsive eating disorder, inability to control his rage.

His conduct is a disgrace to Monee.

Bailey is a team player, with a level head and non-nonsense approach to the myriad complexities of the job of mayor. He is smart enough to surround himself with an excellent team of advisors and a growing band of supporters.

People won't cower or fear for their jobs when he becomes mayor. Bill Bailey will turn Mone back into the community it one was. We owe it to each other to vote for Bailey.

This guy is a town drunk. Are you going to move his office to the bar. Plus he will bring back a fired employee that is also a drunk.

HAHAHA. You must be serious? I've been with him on many occasions and he either orders 1) diet pepsi, 2) ice water or 3) never more than two beers. I suppose he did drink a lot when he was younger - but most of us did.

Fired employee does not want to come back no matter who is elected mayor. Fired employee has moved on career-wise.

So to slander people you must have a craw up your a**- or be the mayor's minion. Talk about excess!!!

P.S. he has a nice house in Gorman subdivision he must be doing something right. so get a life Monee Screwed !!! or maybe (mayor)??? who ever you are.

He was not drunk (Dan) he just got off work.
P.S. most of your group was seen at the other bar in Monee after the board meeting, that you did not attend.I guess it is ok for them but not for him.
one more time, remember do not throw rocks when you live in a glass house.
I will take the high road and not elaborate because I will not sinking to your level.
you have also spent time in a bar.

The problem with your rendition of Bailey not being drunk is that Bailey has spent the majority of his public life in Monee in the past 10 or more years drunk, close to passing out in public bars. To pretend this isn't true is like saying all of us who have observed his conduct are without our five senses. For most of us going to a bar does not equate getting drunk beyond the ability to walk and/or talk. Most of us have self control, unlike Bailey and his friends. FYI just because someone doesn't agree with you and posts info doesn't mean it is Dan as you accuse. I and many others happen to have a mind of our own and simply don't want to repeat the town drunk as mayor experience. We have the right to express our thoughts too.

Bill Bailey is neither an alcoholic or a recovering alcoholic. An alchoholic is someone who needs to have a beer in hand or they can't function. Workoholic would be better to describe Bill. Being up at the crack of dawn, at the compter or for meetings proves this. Everyone needs to stop focusing on the negatives and focus on the positives. If Bill is elected mayor of Monee,he will makes changes that the town needs.

I think you need to take a course in addictions. Maybe you would then be educated on the definition of what constitutes an alcholic. It is actually diagnosed based on several indicators which include but are not limited to: medical, social, personal and interpersonal relationships, and ability to have the self control to stop. Sorry, your friend Bill Bailey, has a major past and current lack of self control and an intimate relationship with drinking and does so publicly. I am not blind nor deaf. Passed out in a public bar? Really at his age? The final stages of alcholism exhibit very real physical characteristics of withdrawal (uncontrollable shaking etc...) He just isn't quite there yet. There is no positive in electing an individual who lacks control over his own public behavior. Let's get real.

I have been living in monee my whole life and I couldn't be more excited to see bill bailey running for mayor. I'd rather have a success businessman who worked his a** off to be where he is. He has a well paying job, nice house, has been active in helping with projects in monee, and where he raised his boys. I can't wait for Tovo to be out of office. I don't want someone who cons disability out of money when he should get on a treadmill. I disapprove of Jay he obviously has anger issues when his own wife had to get a restraining Order against him. No doubt in my mind that Bill Bailey is the right choice for mayor.
Hey Mo, are you sitting with Larry and Curly? That's what the Village Hall will be like if Bailey wins. Have another one for me.

As does yours. If you only peek at the surface and don't get to the real truth then I guess your opinion makes sense. You know he drinks like a fish and drives like one afterwords on a regular basis. Justify it all you want but you are wrong and you know it. This election is not about who we personally like popularity wise it is about bringing federal and state dollars to Monee, businesses to Monee when the fiscal outlook becomes stable for small and/or large businesses to start growing again. It is about who can do the job, has experience to do the job, and has shown us the voters their committment to do the job. Bailey attended one of his first Board meetings after pulling a packet and has not contributed his time or money to anything prior to that to my knowledge (and I do know). Maybe he should have run for trustee first and got his feet wet.

But Tovo and jay will do exactly that? Doubt it. It's time for a fresh start. Someone who has a successful background. Everyone has a past every time I see him he's never drinking anymore. If you know what he does regularly then you must be sitting right along side him. You have no room to judge either. Talk about judging someone by whatever everyone else says.

Want to talk about the tons of illegal meetings the trustees (lead by Tovo and including the village attorney) attended after the regular meetings in the backroom at a bar? Clear violations of the open meetings act -- which helped Jay Farquhar get elected to trustee.
And the other bar owner, a true Tovo supporter, hits on the rotating band of young women he hires. Who takes "inventory" at 2:00am and then has to call his wife to drive him home because he is so drunk?
Glass houses all of you.
And Harry cut the crap, intimidating your neighbor so she takes down her Bailey sign while you throw the Tovo banners up in your yard. Tovo intimidation has spread too widely and it has to end.

Public excess? Tell me the difference between public and private excess when both of the Tovos have other addictions that clearly show their lack of good judgement. Morbid obesity is no less strong an addiction than someone who imbibes. Addiction consumes individuals and no one in this election is without their demons.
