Executive Inn Rivermont Liquidation

[Curious]

Just wondering if anyone has been to the liquidation sale at the Executive Inn that is going on.
My husband and I have been down there 3 or 4 times and it is one of the saddest things I have seen in awhile. You can tell it was vandalized prior to it being reopened for the sale and to see the formerly pretty lobby just look like a total junk hole is terrible(to me anyway).
Maybe I am the only one sad to see it go.

Being that I have vast knowledge of the big e I will say that like alott of things in Owensboro .the city dropped the ball!it was salvigable but not now .and as far as vandals. Goes it's mostly kids painting graffitti on walls. The city hired security but it's hard for 1man to cover 17acres without cameras,but they do a good job,soon only a empty lot will be there,but it will always hold a memory for me!!!!!!! Times change ,if only the powers at be seen it as I do,bob green would be smiling down from the heavens as memories and good times would have flowed like wine,but only bare wires and neglected rooms remain!!! To thyme own self be true.......... Josh g
