If you are planning to stay home this year, because President Obama isn't sufficiently progressive, and isn't doing enough to suit you, you might want to consider the alternative. It isn't pretty ... and they're already doing it in states they won....If Republicans control the White House and Congress:

1. They're going to privatize Social Security and Medicare.

2. They're going to repeal the minimum wage.

3. They're going to undermine if not outright destroy, public education.

4. They're going to repeal the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

5. Once that is accomplished, Republican controlled state legislatures are going to bring back literacy tests.

For those of you who doubt this agenda, they're already doing it. They are passing restrictions on access to the polls as we speak, even as Paul Ryan proposes his voucher plan for medicare. Presidential hopeful Michelle Bachman says people need to be "weaned off" of Social Security and Medicare, and says that eliminating the minimum wage would create jobs ... a claim for which there is zero evidence.

None of this will be accomplished without the democrats support. If I'm not mistaken, didn't the minumum wage go up under President Bush?

If the Republicans win, the economy should reverse course; freedoms will be preserved; democracy will be preserved and a good and just American will serve as President.

Then the next phase of retaking America back will begin.

Wisdom used the word should because even if Mitt Romney wins there are still democrats in the house and senate.

I do not answer for Wisdom or any one else for that matter but me. As I have stated before I am not a member of the Tea Party. YOU stated in another thread that you are, so I guess you admit to being a cult member?

You see the vitriolic name calling if you disagree with a liberal. I have been proven right time after time with these libs.

Argumentation comes in the form of:

1. name calling
2. Character assassination.
3. Deriding the source, the speaker.
4. Diversionary response via changing the subject or the yeah, but back when... remarks.
5. Ignoring the present or future implications of their policies.
6. Never putting forth their agenda or stating the positives of their position.

How anybody can stand alongside this type of ideology is predicated on:

1. What is in it for them.(Government check)

2. Hedonism-(legalize pot, lower drinking age, etc.)

3. Lack of moral responsibility of actions-(abortion, illegal alien amnesty or ignoring current applicable laws)

4. Ignorance- the inability to carefully weigh the subject and the societal impact versus personal gain. Or the generational acceptance of party affiliation. Or the inexperience that age and responsibility to self, family and church will bring.

No watch for proof in their responses....
