I think Sherry Weedman is the better choice, she has ALWAYS been nice, not just when she decided to run for office.

I know both Sherry and Tonya but knowing them both as people and in their working environment I would have to say it's a close tie but slightly in favor of Tonya. Not like it's a big deal, I can't see why the clerk is an elected position anyway. It would be like GM holding elections for executive secretaries rather than letting people apply and hiring the most qualified. Government in this state is like 200 yrs behind reality.

Also on Tuesday go outside the box - spend the weekend finding out about the individual, not what party they are being backed by, and when you vote Tuesday don't hit straight party but select each office's candidate by who you feel as a mature educated voter is qualified to hold the position and is worthy of the money you as a taxpayer and voter are sending to their office for operations and payroll. It's alright to be a registered Democrat and vote for a Republican, or vice-versa. Treat each like you do the nonpartisan offices (like mayors, judges, city council, etc) and vote for the person and their outlook and views and how they will represent you as a voter this next term. Also don't sit home and not vote then cry about who won - if you don't vote you can't gripe about it.

You can also vote against a friend (if you are friends or family of a candidate) but still yell rah-rah for them publicly. That's why voting is anonymous - no one but you knows who you voted for. So if you are family of Tonya you can vote for Sherry if you feel she's the best for the spot. If you are related to Sherry and you think Tonya is best qualified vote for Tonya. Who you vote for is YOUR choice and is your business alone. When someone asks after the polls simply tell them it's personal and you don't like to get into political discussions.

Do the right thing Tuesday, not the popular thing. The popular thing got our asses in a crack 2 yrs ago.

Whomever you mean...that person's husband isn't on the ballot so what's the big deal. It's not a popularity contest but an election.
