Does this judge support Constables and their training and use?

Mr. NE Reed has done more for Edmonson County than any other County judge executive that has ever served, or clamed to have served this county.

What does a constable do?
Why even have constables.
By having constables that provide nothing to the community and then sending them to get training, cost the tax payers of this county.
Could we not spend this money more Wisely?

Reed has been good for the county. I support him because I can talk to him. He is a good man.

Honestly whats the difference in the constable than voting in a jailer when we dont even have a jail? One is just as pointless as the other. But meh they do what they want anyways.

our current constables are absolutly worthless without training and professionalism, this i agree totally.
they dont and wont train, and have no intent to do anything but wear a badge that means nothing, because no one takes them seriously.
Its all their own fault.
now, as for what a trained constable can do?
ANYTHING the sheriff of the county can do.
yup, EQUAL coheasive jurisdiction.
Now what that means to a tax payer is the following.
like volunteer firemen ( whom tax payers pay so much) constables altho elected officials, recieve NO PAY, nor ANY TAX PAYER MONIES.
you heard right.
constables are volunteers, just like the firemen.
so that tax payer loosing argument is moot.
if a constable wishes to be active, he must pay for his OWN training, and supplies, his own car, his own gas.
not many people would do this to begin with as noone wants to help anyone anymore.
its someone elses job, let them do it.
constables who wish to work can SAVE the county tax payers bundles, if the are used to work wrecks, patrol neighborhoods for crime, serve papers, so that deputys dont have to.
costables (if properly trained) can save a community alot, and be a free police officer that the community doesnt have to pay.
so if they were trained, worked and acted like a professional, why wouldnt you want them to work?
just a thought.
as for the ones who dont do any good, im right behind you guys on those.

i know, but the question was, does he support constables and their training?
you can do alot, but not help people on another issue.
i just ask a simple question.
