Sarasota woman charged with DUI with child in car

BRADENTON: Authorities say a Sarasota woman was driving under the influence with a child in the car.

This is "NOT" her first offence.... She did the same thing last year...

I hate to tell you, but women (and men) do this crap ALL the time with kids in the car....while leaving restaurants after having pounded down several drinks before, during and after dinner

I SEE it all the time...it's a shame for sure....but it's FAR from unusual ...she just got nailed again..

I dare say if Manatee County Sheriffs sat in their patrol cars outside of places like Hooters, Outback, LeeRoy Selmon's, TGIF, Applebees on SR 70 and on Cortez, they would find TONS of parents or grownups driving under the influence with kids in the cars......the same thing could be said about Sarasota Sheriffs if they sat outside a ton of places in Sarasota County like Chili's, Big Al's, Carraba's,and just about ANY PLACE on Siesta Key, or along South Trail, like Oyster Bar or Outback on University or South Trail
