I was interested in the new web site giveortakeajob.com . I am unemployed and went to the site. Only to find out that the unemployed have to PAY to use the service. How is that helping those of us that are unemployed? Why not charge a fee for those offering the jobs, not the people who are unemployed looking for work. Because we don't have an income. Please don't charge the unemployed to use your site. Charge those who offer employment.

1 www.JobFocus.com was a nice site for me when my webdesign company www.MBAwebdesign.com was looking to hire. Maybe it will help you. Ive thought about building a local site for greater sarasota that would let people post resume's and employers to post free job openings. In this economy, its just not right to make people pay to get a new job or post to find new workers. Anyone willing to help me with some data entry tasks if I decide to build it? |

Unemployed - giveortakeajob.com is in the process of updating the website to be free to all. It works, as I myself have used it several times. I have made extra income and I have had jobs done for me that I didn't want to do myself. The reason for the $6.95 fee originally was to try to help pay for the initial setup, advertizing and marketing. The site is now is drawing well founded interest from several foundations, local/state agencies and other municipalities and companies because it is actually starting to help people looking for additional income or needing work performed at a reasonable rate. It is helping with the unemployment problem even if it is in a small way at this time.

How is giveourtake a job any different from Craigslist? Craigslist you can post a job in your area, as well as look for a job in your area. Oh and get this...it's FREE!!
I checked out give or take a job, and there were only 4 jobs being offered. I checked all the catagories and only 4 jobs showed up. Craigslist already provides this service for free, and they have a lot more job and one time servce postings. They call them Gigs. |
