Amherst driver guilty in toddler's death

An 18-year-old Amherst County teenager has been found guilty of improper driving in the death of a toddler.

Maybe if she had hit a dog, she would have gotten jail time. It's obvious that the life of a black baby means less than that of a nasty, stinking dog!!!

Does anyone think that the parents/guardian is at least partially responsible for the childs death. It is there responsibility to ALWAYS know where there child is and what they are doing.

No one, black or white, would EVER intentionally hit a child and leave it. Does anyone have a clue how the girl even feels? It was an accident that never should have happened, and the baby shouln't have been in the road to hit. There were only 2 victims: a neglected child and teenage girl who has to live with this the rest of her life.
