Sad part about the whole thing is that they opened another store in Bedford under a different name. The clothes are even MORE over-priced than before and they are still driving their Mercedes and Lexus'. Isn't funny how people can file bankruptcy and still drive expensive cars and start new businesses?

I think that its funny because I use to shop at American Outfitters all the time while I lived in Bedford and I never thought they were all that bad in prices until I was able to drive and was able to go to stores on my own. Boy I was wrong I feel bad for the T's they were always nice to me and my family I guess thats what I get for living close to them. When I was home to visit family I saw that they opened a new store in the Bedford location! I went in and I couldn't believe that the prices were so high. I wonder if people that have money and need it as bad as they do to survive will ever learn that there just isn't enough rich people in Bedford to keep that store opened. I wish them all the best I wont be back there anytime soon.
stores were over priced

all of the store were overpriced..not just the bedford one.
They will fail at this store as well. I will never ever forget working for them. They made me feel like I was she sh!t on the bottom of their shoes. I laughed when they closed..In fact the store I worked at hired a manager that thought he walked into a cake job and he was all that..He was gone in months..then so was the store...I would love to see him now...He thought he was something when he was hired as the AO manger..Think again..Store was by a bunch of money hungry pigs who in the end lost it all...andI am sure they will do the same to the new over priced sh!t hole they run..I am sure the workers there are treated like dogs too..oh I am sure they hire and fire weekly still..
So glad AO is gone..I walk by the monroeville store now and smile like a prince!!!!!!!!!!

They may have 8K to 15K guns but do you see those guns on the shelves after a weeks? I don't. I go in a few times a week to check out the selection and I know for a fact they are moving guns and a lot of them. They do business all over the country and I even saw them shipping 4 Browning shotguns to Botswana. They obviously have figured something out. I am unable to afford a gun of that price but that doesn't mean other people don't buy them. Just looking at the inventory in the store you have to have enough common sense to see that they are doing business. You can't have an inventory of that size without having an extremely large amount of capital. I hope that they do well. They have always very polite and courteous and treated me with respect every time I was in. And as far as American Outfitters goes, you don't take a company from a few stores and build it up to numerous stores without knowing at least something about business. And for those people wishing other people to fail that is pretty pathetic but you shouldn't expect anything more from disgruntled employees.

AO is gone because the were greedy business people..Greed caused them to fail. This store too will fail..They may think they are better than most people but they aren't..AO went down in files of bankrupt...because the T'S were greedy people. I am glad that store is gone from our malls:)

Glad to hear that these mean, nasty and heartless people are out of business. These rude people were horrible to employees and customers. They would not think twice to yell and degrade an employee on the sales floor in front of customers. Forget having a social life and a family to go home to. These people only cared about their families. Isn't karma wonderful!!!!
