Could someone tell me why clarnda pays $122'000 more a year than Shenandoah was going to pay for peoples service to run the water and wastewater depts.? It's not because Clarinda makes water for rural water. Peoples service doesn't pay for chemicals or energy to make the water. Only labor. Peoples service also has less employees in Clarinda than they would in Shenandoah.. Does anyone want to know how much profit is leaving Clarinda and going to corporate shareholders in Omaha.
