Why are these cars getting stuck on the tracks? Do these people turn onto the tracks, or are they crossing them? Article's not too clear, at least to me.

I don't get it. How does a car get stuck on the tracks? Were the tracks that crossed the street in such a bad shape that cars cant get over them? Shouldn't it be the city's fault for failure to maintain the safety of tracks that cross intersections.

Juan, THERE WAS NO CROSSING where the motorists got stuck. They literally turned off the street and drove onto the tracks where their GPS units told them to turn! I'd like to know what brand of GPS these clowns were using, so I don't end up buying one with the same faulty map database.

GPS or not, you still have to watch where you're driving your car! If the GPS tells you to turn off the road onto a railroad track, or a river, or off a bridge, do you follow the instructions from the GPS, or do you use common sense, and stay on the road?

To clarify for everyone, the exit off the parkway is Green Lane. when you get off the exit, you cross over the tracks. About 200 yards after the tracks is Rte 117. What they have been doing is turning off the parkway nd then making their first right or left which is a RAilroad Bed complete with working tracks.

The problem is that people are so inherently stupid and lack so much common sense that they can't be trusted to exercise judgment. These same idiots would drive right off a cliff if their GPS told them to.

People are just frighteningly moronic nowadays.
