Visit to `Bill W.' house can be emotional for AA members

At least once a year, Bill T. gathers up a few of his fellow Alcoholics Anonymous members and drives up from Florida to thank the people _ now long dead _ who saved him from a life of drunkenness.

i have been clean and sober for 21 yrs and it is all because of bill and bob..my life is now a life and its not filled with dispair and anger...i love to see and hear all about bill and dr.bob...the big book and the 12 steps are the hardest thing i have achieved in my life...if you think about the first step is the hardest..i have never found a reason to go back to alchol...even at my darkest hours.. i recently was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer..and even when the dr said we have no cure .I still did not think about the booze..i choose to live and that is what i am doing..as aa people ,we come to aa to learn how to stay sober and live the life that was gratioustly given to us.. amen

A few of the members of our AA group here in Providence, RI would like to come up and see and stay over at Bill W.'s house. I have been trying to get information in regards to visiting but have been unable to find much. Anyone who can give me needed info it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
