Winifred Bucy complaints

[Am I Alone]

Has anyone out there had problems with the Beckley attorney Winifred Bucy? I hear that she has a reputation of running over her clients, ranting and raving in the courtroom, and running up her fees.

yes, yes, and yes to all of the above. Ranting and raving doesn't even begin to describe what a fool she acts in court. She has no respect for any of the local judges and in turn they have no respect for her.

OMG - I contacted the state bar association and she has a long history of complaints filed against her. How can she continue to practice law???????

Does anyone know what the age limit a child can be to decide where they want to live? We have 13,12, and 10 and they all want to live with me and my husband..im the "bonus mom"..are there any really good lawyers that don't try to kill ya with fee's>

I have praise for Winnie. First of all, she tells it like it is. Secondly, she is a hard worker. She knows the law and will not BS you. She is a fighter, and I admire her for not backing down. If judges only "respect" for the judges, then I would consider that a complment (knowing how crooked these judges and family lawmasters are). As for the complaints at the State Bar, I think that is bullshit. The person that wrote that is invited to back that up with proof. I have recommended Mrs. Bucy to some others, and they have also been well satisfied.

I can see that the user "Am I Alone" is nothing but a liar and a coward. They had the chance to prove their statements about complaints at the bar, yet no proof has been posted.

Like I have posted before, we got Kyle Lusk. Sure some people dont like. Im sure alot of people have complaints against every single lawyer. Ive heard good and bad against her. Meet with her and see what she says. I called her about 4 yrs ago to handle my husbands case, she wanted almost $3,000. We hired Kyle. He done an excellent job for us. We just wanted visitation. Kyle asked us if we would also like to go for custody. We said yes. Well, in less than 30 minutes we had custody.

Just go with whomever YOU think will do the best job for you with the money you have to pay out. Meet with a few. Some will charge you a fee for their time. Some wont. Go with your gut!

She is a super Lawyer, I am a current client of hers, and love her, I love the no bull approach, I like to know what to expect, unlike my divorce lawyer who got me raped, and I was the innocent one.. I wish I would have used her for that, but I am getting my monies worth this time. Im sure the ppl complaining about her ranting and raving were not here clients, if so they were probably doing something she had told them not to do.

To back up my comment, I have copies of all complaints. I am willing to share those with anyone who wants to see them.

But all you really have to do is call the state bar for yourself. You should do that rather than make speculation that my comment was not factual.

I believe Am I Alone was the plaintiff and had to look for ways to discredit Winnie because she AND THE WIFE knew about his girlfriend. That kind of thing makes a man do crazy things!

Winnie is great. Theatrical? yes. Hard-nosed? yes.
Obstinate? definately. A fighter? You better believe it. Honest? 100% totally. That's my opin, but I don't lie.

BTW: the age where a child can decide where to live is 14. It's called "right to reside". At 14 they can decide to live with the next door neighbor and there is little anyone can do as long as there is no contribution to delinquency.

Byron is a joke n so is hart. I have only heard good things about Winnie, at least from those who hired her. Those on the receiving end usually hate her! As for family law, the law masters, especially McGraw , does whatever they want with no regard to the actual law half the time, or that's what my friends have experienced, so maybe that's another reason they don't like Winnie.
