The NRA Twitter goes silent.

No articles of response to the Conn. shootings.

The voice of the National Rifle Association evidently has nothing to say to the victims or the country?

Why so silent?

Is it because they know all they have to do is give this a few weeks and Americans will forget about it?

How do you current members feel about this?

They are getting hit hard by the media right now.

Ok, I'm really confused. What in the hell does the NRA have to do with the Connecticut tragedy?

Equating a mass murder of kindergarten students to using the morning after pill or aborting a non-sentient cell mass... leave it to the bible beating, gun loving Christians of the NRA.

Blaming guns for the actions of a mentally deranged lunatic would be the equivalent of blaming pencils for misspelled words.

The gun didn't walk in on its own and kill these kids a crazy mad man did. If a criminal wants to do something like this they will find a method gun or something else. More gun control would just block good people from having a method to protect themselves from the growing number of crazy people

If you think tighter gun control laws will curb crime, you are an idiot. Makeung it harder to go in a store and buy a gun only hurts honest law abiding citizens. You can get guns anywhere, a criminal or psycho doesnt need to be able to go to the store and buy one. And making guns illegal will do nothing but increase crime because people will not be able to defend themselves against the criminal who bought an illegal weapon and doesnt care the gun hes gonna kill you with is illegal. Drugs have been made illegal too, has that kept them from being a catastrophic problem? No it hasnt. Some people are so narrow minded and stupid

I think they are a bunch of cowards.

The media is slamming gun rights hard right now and they are nowhere to be seen.

And they promise to send you cool bumpers stickers and hats if you'll give them a certain fee yearly. They also claim that this goes to protecting your gun rights.

But are they doing anything right now to quell the media onslaught?

It has a lot to do with it.

Why does the NRA all the sudden disappear after a mass shooting tragedy happens?

This is a question that millions of Americans are asking right now.

The event in the school shooting is sad, but naturally the anti-gun set will instead of mourning will use this as a rallying cry to furthur it agenda on gun control.
Illinois has strict gun control. Take a walk through Chicago or East St Louis some night and see how well it works.

It has nothing to do with it and is called an Ad Hominem; a normal liberal way of discussing things.
The sad thing is, whith the dumbed down Americans, being products of the liberal NEA run school systems, fall for such fallicies

Drugs are illeagal, and the mexicans are making millions. Make guns illeagal and the drug cartels will become gun cartels. I would think its easier to smuggle guns across the border than drugs. Is there even a such thing as a gun sniffing dog?
