Yes because we know that if it werent for coal miners, that no one in WV would have power right?? I have no idea how in the world people in other states do it!!
WV isn't the only place that has coalmines. Maybe you need to learn more about coal mining before you get on here running you're mouth.

The previous poster made a good point about coal miners and WV power.

"In West Virginia 99% of the generated electricity comes from coal."

Talk about vulgar, I over heard two miners talking in front of walmart, the one ask the other "why was his fore finger so clean"? He said "I just had sex with my better half" now that is nasty.

Your kidding right?? Before becoming a [email protected]@..maybe you should think before you speak or in this case type. Hmmm what do other states do..they may not solely depend on it any longer but at one time, the coal that came out of appalachians fueled this nation...just like today they ship a lot of it out to china..WV mainly depends on coal because it is the most abundant resource we would be retarded not to use what we already have..duh... Someone needs to do some research on how this nation became to be what it is today..start with benjamin franklin and his experiments with electricity..that should be a good start for since obviously you know nothing.

I am not a miner. As matter of fact, I am embarrassed to admit that I teach school in climate-controlled safe environment. Why should anyone who is not a miner say anything about their window decals? They are proud of what they do, as they should be. No one told parents to take their kids football decal or cheerleading decal out of their windows. I do have small children, but they are old enough to read. As long as any window decal doesn't have profanity on it, who cares? I do know plenty of miners that do not have trucks, let alone trucks with loud mufflers. And I seriously doubt ALL miners were riding their ATV's in the storms. This thread sounds very bias and making stereotypical remarks about an entire workforce instead of the few that do it. If you have a problem with a miner's window decal or how loud their muffler is.......man up and tell them to their face. Or complain on here like a cowardly lion.

I have read some of the comments on here and I have to wonder what is wrong with people. My hisband is a coal miner and I am proud to display it on my jeep. I just bought my husband a 4x4 truck so he can make it to work and home safe this winter. I am buying him decals for the front and back of his truck. And the nuts on the truck are funny. get a sense of humor. And yes, I do have kids (girls) and I still find them funny.

I'll start off by saying that I am from WV coal mining is big here. In fact, dad was a coal miner (as well as other family members) he drilled it into my head "not to be a coal miner" I'd venture to say that people only get into coal mining for the money now days. Anyway, I have notoced that here in WV, the only people who "advertise" their occipation through window stickers are coal miners and VFD workers. Most are young kids are your sterotypical "hick" and most of these stickers have a coal miner crawling toward a woman with a sexual inuqindow phrase writen somewhere. Same goes for the VFD workers aswell.

My friends' father works for AEP, maybe he should get a sticker that says "My dad keeps the lights on", "Proud son of a lineman" It is completely ridiculous seeing all the Coal Mining stickers all over these cars here in WV. Majority of Coal Miners are Uneducated Rednecks with wives that drain every penny they make. Coal Miners are deffinetly not like they used to be. We all work and have jobs but you don't see everyone posting them on their car windows.

My dad was a Coal Miner for 47 years. Helen No 9#, East Gulf, Eccles, Marlington and Lynco. A very honorable and helpful man. I wish he were here today so I could talk to him. He is dead. If he were alive I would gladly put a sticker on his truck.

Most of the people posting here are not only un-educated but un-employed drawing a Govt. check paid for by Coal Miners. Don't vote Obama. He is against Coal.
