CNN Headline news:
Economists reluctantly pick Romney
When asked who'd be better for the economy, Romney was favored by a 3-1 margin over Obama. 9 out of 17 picked Romney, 3 picked Obama and 5 made no pick with several suggesting neither.
This is it - this is all CNN offers for the negative headline:
And many of those picking Romney were more critical of, as opposed to excited about, the Republican challenger's plans.
"Romney's policies would likely be less bad for the economy than Obama's," said Bill Watkins, executive director of the Center for Economic Research and Forecasting at Cal Lutheran University.
http://money.cnn.com/2012/09/30/news/economy/...
As Newbusters asks -“Would CNNMoney have reported that economists ‘reluctantly’ picked President Obama by a 3-to-1 margin?”
So your telling me that because 9 out of 17 folks in this country of 745 million picked romneys possible economic choices "unproven " over obamas "proven" economic choices that I should pick romney.... Also not to mention this panel of 17 was so ignorant that 5 of them couldnt even pick out of 2 possible choices. NO THANK YOU OBAMA ALL THE WAY YEYEYEYYE LIVE ACTION YOU NASTY PIECE OF SKANK TRASH

Get your head out the shell turtle man. It was 9 out of 17 economists who probably know something about the economy, not 9 out of the entire population of the US. More than 500 economists — including five Nobel laureates — have endorsed Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s economic plan as the right choice for jobs creation and economic growth.

The pro-Romney group “Economists for Romney” announced Monday that its statement of support for the former Massachusetts governor’s economic plan now has 526 signatories, up from 400 a week ago.

“We enthusiastically endorse Governor Mitt Romney’s economic plan to create jobs and restore economic growth while returning America to its tradition of economic freedom,” Economists for Romney’s statement of support reads, proclaiming Romney’s plan as based on “proven principles” to restrain the federal government and expand opportunities in the private sector.

The 526 economists — including Nobel laureates Gary Becker, Robert Lucas, Robert Mundell, Edward Prescott, and Myron Scholes — point to six facets of Romney’s economic approach that they see as beneficial to future economic success.

Oh hush ..... If you want numbers ..... Romney says 47 percent of America are freeloading deadbeats that he doesn't care about. That's nearly 50 percent. Meaning one out of every two people in America. So one out of two, and since I'm not a freeloader, it means you are. So if Romney doesn't care about you and what you say, why should we?

Here's my favorite Bill Clinton quote...from today in New Hampshire (one of Romney's home states) talking about Romney's comment that 47% of American people don't pay income taxes:

"A guy with a tax account in Cayman Islands is attacking other people for not wanting to [pay taxes]. I mean, you gotta give him credit, like I said, that's like Congressman Ryan attacking Barack Obama for having the same Medicare savings he did. When you really bust somebody for doing what you did, it takes a lot of gall, you know?" Clinton said to applause.

If Romney is elected and reduces capital gains tax to zero (as he has said he will) then he won't have to pay any income taxes because, guess what, all his income of interest income, capital gains, and carried interest, which is how Bane Capital profits are taxed, will have a ZERO tax rate.

How can the American people be so stupid as to vote for this man!

My favorite Bill Clinton Quote was: I did not have sex with that woman. After that I don't put much faith in what Bill Clinton says.

I don't know why liberals keep harping on the 47%. It's like your feelings were hurt. It is the 53% that should be ticked off.

The 47% includes retired people who get SS, many of whom are disabled military, minimum wage workers, and many middle-class people who have seen their income decrease over the past 30 years. I wouldn't expect Romney and other rich people to understand this...they pay less than 15% income tax when people who work for a wage or salary pay much more than that. That has been an amazing thing to me, that so many low income people support Romney who is such a deadbeat that he puts his money in the Cayman Islands and Switzerland so he doesn't have to pay income tax on it. Obama has disappointed me in some ways but I don't have to wonder if he's paying more tax han I am. As Obama said, it's time for some exonomic patriotism...sure do like that phrase.

I agree. That's true.

Think about it. 47 percent is about one out of every two people in America. The unemployment rate is only 8.1 percent. So who makes up the remaining 38.9 percent after deducting the unemployed? People like you mentioned.

"Clinton should be impeached."
-- Newt Gingrich, dissing Clinton in the media for cheating, while at the same time he (Newt) was bonging an aide in an office supply room, his wife busted him and divorced his butt. This was the second wife that divorced him for cheating.

(Newt? What kind of parents nickname their baby after a type of salamander?)

Obama's poor performance in the debate.

Al Gore says it was due to the altitude of where the debate was held:)
(Thank God for the Supreme court or this putz would have been President)

The performance of Romney has caused the left to fall back to desperation charges against Romney....It's the liar, liar, pants on fire defense against him:)

You can't make this "S" up:)

Yes it is true the altitude is different in this state, but Obama is tired and doesn't want to do this anymore, he knows the truth..... even if he lies about it, the truth has no agenda and it shows.
