West Virginia's gang activity is centered in eight counties, according to an FBI report.

The report issued Friday says the counties with the most gang activity are Fayette, Harrison, Kanawha, Logan, Marion, McDowell, Mercer and Putnam.

West Virginia has fewer than 1,000 gang members and none is classified as violent, according to the biennial report, which tracks the estimated 1.4 million members that make up more than 33,000 gangs in the United States.

The report says West Virginia's gangs are The Black Guerrilla Family, The Junk Yard Dogs, Latin Kings, Pagans Motorcycle Club and Warlocks Motorcycle Club, according to The Charleston Gazette .

These puny little gangs they speak of pose no threat to society. I even know a few GR's and they are just like every normal, average citizen.

I think they should turn their sights to the numberous militias that have formed since Obama took office. They are the ones who need watching!

You know this thought spurs on thought in my head. Perhaps we do not have enough militias. Think about it and look at history. When is the last time you can recall our elected officials actually taking the concerns of we the people seriously? They rob us blind, they create animosity towards us abroad, they make deals to squander our resources, destroy our environment, sell our economic stability off with unmitigated impunity. Even the "threat" of being out of a job does not seem to bother them.

Instead of doing the job we elected them to do they deal in pork, make back door dealings, and focus on things so low down on the list of priorities you would have to trip over what they are fussing about to even try to scratch the surface of a real issue.

So maybe that is part of the problem. These people see "We the people" as the lazy apathetic sheep they have groomed us into. They figure they can get away with what they want because they do not and really we have given them no reason to fear consequences if they DONT act on our behalf.

So maybe we actually need MORE militias to remind these people who it is they serve. Just a thought.
