It's owned by the Barton's. Everything they have is overpriced.

It is not owned by the Barton's they are just employed there. Chevrolet has a big line of cars and priced for any budget. The owners are mid-state and they are very affordable

I have been there. The dealership is a nice place. The nicest in the area. I bought one of the first cars sold off the lot. I waited six months for them to open, because I previously bought a truck from the dealership in Flatwoods, and appreciated the way I was treated. The place is owned by the LeRose family. Can't wait to see all the sour grapes posted here from other dealerships. Shame on you people. I can't understand why there are so many negative posts about new businesses.

Well, there are some of the sour grapes mentioned before. If you don't like the LeRose family, that's your perogative. I'd be willing to bet you don't really even know any of them. The dealership is a great thing for the area. People will say and believe what they choose. I have also been treated well by the Mid-State Group and will continue to deal with the LeRose family.

Let me start off by saying I am not from this area so I don't know the Bartons or LeRose families. I took my car to the dealership back in February because of a recall notice I received. When I made the appt. I asked to also have my oil changed and because of a special they were running to get my tires rotated. The day of the appt. I told them forget the tire rotation just do the oil change.Right off they came back and said I needed the rotation done so ok do it. Then they came and said I needed a new air filter. I said I would take care of that myself. The final time they came to me they said I needed new brake pads for front and back brakes and a new rim because mine was bent. All to the tune of $611.98. Again I told them I would take care of it. March being my birthday I took my car in to a garage I had never done business with and had them do a state inspection on it. To my surprise my car passed with flying colors. I specifically asked if they had checked my brakes and was told yes and was given the readings on the front and back brakes. I them mentioned my bent rim. The technician and I went outside to look at it and I asked about whether or not it could be fixed or would I need a new one. He went inside and came back with a rubber mallet. After hitting the bent part of the rim 5 times it was back to normal and there was no more leak coming from it. I paid $12.66 total for the inspection. Needless to say I was not a happy camper to find out my car did NOT need the work done that Crossroads Chevrolet wanted to do and charge me $611.98 for. Now I understand that they are in the business of making money but it seems to me that being a brand new business in town if they wanted to build a customer base they certainly will not do it by charging for work that doesn't need to be done. I feel they could have told me that a few well placed hits with a rubber mallet would take care of the rim issue and earned my respect for being a fair and honest garage. The brakes I just don't understand at all. How can two places be so far apart on whats good and bad? Well the bottom line for me is I will never return to that dealership for anything unless I get another recall on my car. I'm just upset that I actually paid them money to do my oil change and tire rotation. So how many other unsuspecting people will they take to the cleaners? Shame on them for starting out ripping people off.

The Bartons opened their own place at the corner of Johnstown Rd. They must not work for Crossroads any more.

The property and dealership is ALL owned by the LeRose family. They also own Midstate Pre-owned and Midstate Ford at Summersville. Cowboy White and Paul White have NO hand in the business at all. As for hirings and firings, you'd only know the real story if you worked there. Then, maybe not all of it. What you have said here is libelous, and I hope the Bartons find out. IP addresses are not that difficult to track, you know.

You sound like you might be from a rival dealership. That's OK, though. I'm sure it's tough to watch Crossroads dry up the rest of the business in the area. Jealous much?

IP addresses don't mean a thing. Difficult to prove who said anything just from an address.

Don't know anything about this dealership but I do know that bunch who own Beckley Automall and everything else around there are a bunch of crooks. Kind of like Lewis who continues to sell Suzuki vehicles and that company plans on leaving the states.

This was 15 years ago. "Everyone" in the family has not been to prison. The younger LeRose is the dealer principal. Get over your jealousy. Plus, this website is a rag of a blog. The writer can post or write whatever. Oh.....kind of like Topix, right?
