They should have gotten handcuffs over watches

They should have gotten jail time

They should have gotten a huge financial check

They should have been charged with Racketeering

They should have been boxed taken to the street

They should have had the reception at the SR Jail

The watch was appropriate

Does this include all employees past and present? How about we all get a watch? How about a check for $1 million dollars??? Good Lord!

Wow.... shut up with the stupid, pointless threads. Like 6 employees got watches for their 25+ years of service. Get over it and get a life.

Wow. I wonder if law enforcement will include this in their considerations of who did what when. Also I would think the HLC would find this offensive or at least objectionable. They could have been mailed a paper certificate.

If it's pointless to you don't read it dumb*ss. Are you trying to squelch free speech? You must have been there. Hope your Christmas or whatever holiday you might celebrate is as special as you clearly are.

You people are complete idiots and have no idea what you are talking about. Why don't you shut up and go get a job!

You might want to watch your mouth. I will not be delivering presents to your home this Christmas. We all know about the special gifts that were handed out. Poor management of money once again. More evidence of poor judgement on the school's part. No one deserved a reward for their service at MSU. Those people failed at their jobs. The loss of accreditation is proof of that failure. We will not forget all the lies that were told to the unsuspecting students. Happy job hunting!

It's little wonder federal financial aid is being withheld from MSU. It does have the appearance of mismanagement.

LOL, special gifts? All donated from the MSU bookstore, nothing was bought. Again, you have no idea what you are talking about so move on with your pathetic little life. As for the federal financial aid, you will get it when you get it. Get a job and pay your bills. Stop depending on federal financial aid to support your drug habit...

Wow, they carry watches at the bookstore? hmmm. and Food that was served at the event? hmmm. and
decorations for the luncheon? hmmm.
If that is true, why are they not selling the stuff at the bookstore and using that money to wrap up the school's financial responsibilities.
I wonder how many vendors won't get paid?

They use the same decorations for each event, its called recycling. Yes, they sell watches at the book store. The food was made by Sydexo, the company that runs the cougar den. They are selling stuff at the bookstore, at a major discount. You should purchase some stuff and advertise proudly. You really are making yourselves look ignorant with all these rants comprised of untrue information. Either you are stupid or a liar.

Donated or bought, it's still a cost to MSU. Either the bookstore donates and takes a hit (MSU money) or MSU buys from the bookstore and spends MSU money.
They should wear them

Beckley, WV

I believe they should be made to wear the watches very day of their lives. They can think of the watch like an ankle bracelet and remember how they scammed the school and did the evil bidding of the administration.

While evil was being promoted they were silent and did nothing.

They still stand silent in shame.

Okay, seriously, no one besides the very top administrators knew what trouble the school was in. I worked there for almost five years and was in a Director role, we did not know that the school was in such peril. It is true that no one liked Dr. Polk, he ruled with an iron fist and preferred fear as his method of keeping people in line. The goal of the teachers and staff was and is to support students in reaching their goals. None of us would have stayed had we known what was really going on Most of us continued our education while there and sincerely believed in the mission. It's sad all the way around. For real.

The bottom line is many were complicit with the bad deeds. Many of the students have been hurt and just wanted a decent education. The nursing lawsuits will certainly shed to light what we went through. Very few of the nursing students were telling the students the truth and they left shortly after. Sad case.

As a nursing student we all suffered under the leadership of MSU. We will suffer for many years to come. Many of us wonder how much justice will take place at MSU. Our teachers mostly were good yet we should have never been lied to and told everything would be just fine.

The school could still be open if it was not for the upper administration that Polk left in charge. I believe they were all out for themselves and horrible people.

Poor V Thompson

Beckley, WV

Just look at Vanessa Thompson holding her watch on Facebook. She looks like she is in shock, despair, and depression. The background is junk ridden-low class kitchen nic nack setting that really sets the background.

It is really funny.

Wow. I'd really love to hear the assenine explanations you give to your accountant. I bet he laughs his ass off when you leave his office. If you don't have an accountant then either you are poor or you cheat on your taxes and don't want an accountant to report you to the IRS.
