OH MY GOD WHAT A BUNCH OF LIARS, WORSE PLACE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. FIRST THEY SELL US A VEHICLE WITHOUT AN INSPECTION STICKER, TO GET ON MONDAY, OK, CAR CAN'T BE INSPECTED, AIR BAG LIGHT ?? THEN BRAKE LEAK?? HAD TO BE IN THE SHOP
FOR MOST OF THE WEEK. THEN WE WERE GONNA REDO THE
FINANCE BECAUSE WE HADN'T EVEN HAD THE VEHICLE SO
THEN THEY DECIDED TO UP OUR DOWN PAYMENT AND HAD ALREADY TOOK OUR FIRST DOWNPAYMENT AFTER WE HAD TOLD THEM TO WAIT UNTIL VEHICLE WAS FIXED TO MAKE SURE IT WAS SAFE AND FIXED. WELL WE LEFT WITH OUR OWN VEHICLE, THEY KEPT OUR TITLE AND OUR DOWNPAYMENT AND ALL THE PAPERWORK. I WILL REPORT THIS TO THE BBB AND TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL. I JUST WANT THE PUBLIC TO KNOW HOW HORRIBLE THIS PLACE IS AND SAVE YOURSELF A TRIP TO THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BUY A "lEMON"

Don't worry, they're going to pay. The dealerships have stuck it to us and now it's payback. These dealerships in the area won't last too much longer.

I looked at a Jeep there recently. The price on the Jeep was 20,500.00. It was one yr. old, about 13,000 miles and at the end of its "free" satellite radio offer.

We looked in the glove box at the owners manual, and the last owner left the original dealer's sticker in the owner's manual. It was 21,000.00 for the Jeep brand new..

I asked the salesman how much he could go down on price and he said "another 500.00, but after that they would loose in the thousands on this vehicle."

We showed him the original sticker from the dealer and he said "I guess I should leave that out".. he nervously giggled and we left.

We're never buying from there..

Word of mouth speaks volumns about a company and I
am glad to see others are speaking out as well. I think when they start talking about how much money they are losing on the sale of a vehicle, that is a red flag. Thanks to all of you who took the time to speak out about this company, hopefully it will help others.

Personally I think all of the Ramey locations are pretty good. A lot of their vehicles come from auto auctions so the dealer may not even know some of the problems a vehicle might have. You try having over 1500-2000 vehicles in an inventory and know for sure that there isn't an underlying problem. It's not possible. They will make things right with you if you do have a problem but you can't get all up in somebody's ass over it and expect them to make things easy.

There are good and bad at every place of business, car lots to police to educators to justices. But some car places have a bad name and rightfully so, because they hire the idiots that nobody else will!! Therefore your company gets a bad name because of the idiots that are working there.

Why yes I can "...get all up in somebody's ass over it and expect them to make it easy".
They sure come out to "stroke" every inch of you when your there to buy a car. They tell you how great and affordable that car/truck is. How the carfax shows nothing in the history. How that car will run another "100,000 mile"...
But as soon as you drive it off the lot.. well, it's your problem now. "Buyer beware".. I agree with that cliche - "seller beware" is just a little less known.

Well the same thing happened at the Hyundai Dealer
and to say the least in a 3 week period of time, 2 vehicles were in the shop after we signed the contract, well we backed out of the first one didn't think the exact same thing would happen and it did, we were pissed and I did call the attorney general twice, absolutely no help still waiting for a call back from the attorney. We backed out of the second deal also when it had to go back for the third time, this vehicle was a 2006, 44,000.00 miles and already had some sort of engine problem, and I don't care how good of a warranty they have, we got to drive it about 2 days before the check engine light came on and we decided enough was enough. They too did not give us our down payment money back another stop payment at the bank or we would have been out that money too. One big lesson I have learned, never exchange money when buying a car from a car lot. I will never pay one penny upfront in addition to a trade in, never !!

confusedinwv from the way things look to me you aren't happy with anything...ever. All of your posts on any topic are negative and derogitive. If everything in Beckley and the surrounding area is so bad then why don't you do yourself and everyone else a favor and move.

A check engine light does not mean something is wrong with the motor in general most of the time. Usually it is an emissions concern or someone retarded doesn't know how to put their gas cap on.I wouldn't give you're complaining ass back any money either. I would probably most likely tell you to call the attorney general the BBB or whomever and then go take a dump in you're 44,000 mile used car and tell you to take the piece of shit and get off my lot. Good day to you!

how do u think they can build such a nice place and pay every body without lyin to every one.i bought a truck at ramey, had the car fax done and all checked out,,,,3 months later bondo started fallin out the side, turned out the whole driver side had been fixed,i had no luck getting anything back. it is not just ramey, they all do it,,,if you buy a used car you need a body man, mechanic, and a lawyer to go with you,sad but it is a fact.i think it is cute now they cant sell anything because of the recession. sometimes i will stop in and act like i am interested just to watch em squirm, and leave...try it,its fun.they have screwed over so many people for so long, now its our turn

Let me enlighten you, I don't know of anybody, anywhere who is gonna go in debt for a vehicle for 5 years and the vehicle had to be taken back for 3 problems in the first, No One !! Conplain you bet I will, and the law is if the deal didn't go through then the money is owed back absolutely.
I don't care where you live or what vehicle you buy, you should be getting a decent vehicle. That is why we have the LEMON LAW !!! Most generally people complain when there is a reason to complain. You can say whatever you want but if it happened to you, i'm quite sure you would feel the same way !!

You go buy a vehicle and the first day the vehicle stalls when it is driven constantly, had to have new brake pads within 2 days and tell me, when you've had those thing done and the check engine light comes on, you wouldn't be pissed and no it wasn't the cap just FYI !!

They tried to rip me off. I bought a new Subaru from them. After a year or so the alternator went out and conveniently wasn't under warranty so I coughed up big bucks to have it replaced. About a year later I received a factory recall notice to have the alternator replaced. I took the letter to the dealer and asked for my money back from the previous work. They told me the computer says they hadn't done any work. About a month later I found the computer generated receipt for the alternator. When I presented it to them and demanded a refund, they looked as though they'd lost their best friend while cutting me the check.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Lemon Law applies to "NEW" vehicles only.

Ditto....was lied to about my vehicle that I bought at the Cranberry location. They even tried to rip me off after the sale. Called the attorney general and they really did, "Take care of business!"
