[Not worth the drive]

Growing up near Lewisburg, I do not think its worth your drive. There is one short street of bars and junk shops. The prices are ridiculous. I worked there and the people are snobs, mostly. The down town area is really going out of business fast. They do have a couple decent restaurants though. Food and Friends and Bella Casa seem to be the most popular. I went to food and friends once. Ordered their lasagna and they forgot the cheese, but my husbands steak was very good. Ive onlyhad heard great things about Bella Casa. Though, they have a heftycouple price tag. I have nothing against the place, I just do not see enough there for you to go that far out of your way for a yuppie, snobbish place and to get from one side to the other took me an hour the other day. Traffic during peak times is horrible. If it were warmer and you were to go there, a trip up the road a ways to Cass Railroad would be fun. Ive went many times and enjoyed it and the ride is amazingly beautiful.

Yep it is. I think Monday it is closed. And doesn't open until four on sunday, but I am not 100 percent sure about the hours. It has been a while since I have ordered anything from there.

Thanks for the humorous read this morning! I read topix while eating breakfast at my desk. I grew up in WV, LOVE that state, Miss that state. WV has some of the best people! I guess it is true that many have turned to pills & meth and that is a shame.

I just miss riding on back roads, fishing, swimming in a river, and stopping for a cold one somewhere in between. I hope to run into some of you when I come to visit! If you see a group of unfamiliar ladies laughing and having a good time, ask if one of is is Lane from Charlotte. I will buy you a drink! Take care.

well bad news the ice bar cracked... and started to melt... the foam party was amazing at Club Liquid it had soap bubbles from floor to ceiling and was a riot. A midget actually rode a pony inside and we all got to throw carrots at him..... The midget I mean not the pony that would have been rude.
