last time I checked it was a free country to discuss whatever topic we feel necessary to. and its not a age thing, or lack of hobby thing, its about people speaking out about lack of respect for its employees at Olive Garden. if you ask any random associate they will tell you what actually took place on monday was extreme but this event was going to happen and more then likely it wont be the last time it happens. Olive Garden has has bad stories about the way they treat employees sence they have opend. I have witness this first hand. We here in beckley need to boycott Olive Garden. there's other local Italian restaurant that treat employees and guest better.

if it's really that bad at Olive Garden maybe boycotting this place might not be such a bad idea let's Force Olive Garden to play fair in Beckley West Virginia. it seems like they came to Beckley stereo typing us all. we are the people with in this community, If no one eats here they will be forced to respect the community are lose millions of dollars getting that building built in Beckley because they will be forced to shut down. If you really think about it they're not disrespecting employees there disrespecting citizens of our community. These people are sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, cousins, fathers, mommy's,and daddy's,that work there and have to deal with this every single day! let's push back Beckley ! let's fight for our self respect! Remember theres power in numbers!

Hey "it's me".... Threatening people (Dustin and Heath) on an Internet message board is a CRIME. If you are unhappy with your present employment situation, I suggest you find somewhere else to work, instead of being a COWARD and making threats here. There are a LOT of people who would stand up and PHYSICALLY protect management if you tried to make a move. Because it is the right thing to do.
Management has been made aware of your post. Just because you feel management has been rude to you, or has treated you unfairly DOES NOT justify you or anyone else to make, or act out on ANY threats of violence.

it seems that you are manager and your little bit sore because we all know the truth. the hurts learn to be a better manager learn to treat people with dignity and respect. he said if you don't stop treating us like crap in his eyes that could mean if you attack him in a threatening or physical way because that could be a self defense. that's his way of telling you to leave him alone. I heard someone trying to defend themselves.

I work at Olive Garden. I can HONESTLY say that no one has EVER treated me in a disrespectful way. From DMO to the line cooks, servers and bartenders. INCLUDING management. Now, when everyone is 'slammed' of course people can get a little testy (including me), but that's just because of the stress and the fact that people, at the end of the day, truly want to do a good job and be successful. But, if someone is acting rude I just take it with a grain of salt and forget about it. Actually, that's a sign that they are covered up and need help.
I CHALLENGE ALL fellow co-workers at Olive Garden from this day on to see your fellow workers as a TEAM. If you are a server and DMO needs help, HELP THEM. If your managers need help, then HELP THEM. To me, it shouldn't matter what your specific job is, WE ARE A TEAM. We can either succeed or fail TOGETHER!
Now let's all have a great big hug and then be the BEST resturaunt Beckley has ever seen.
Forget the haters.
Well

If you have a problem with any managers it's probably because you don't do your job. All of the managers there are amazing. Heath is awesome and is great to work with. I have wanted to quit a few times just due to stress and other people not doing their job but I would not want another boss. They pay is not the greatest but working for such great people makes coming into work kinda fun. So do your job be respectful and you should not have any problem with anyone.

Just to clear up the Misunderstanding i wasnt threating neither member of mang. i would never in no way wish bodily harm on anyone nor do i uphold behaving violently or barbaric. I was just trying to say they should take other approches in a more professional aspect to avoid ignorent individuals like the one that lose control of reality..

I watched the news last night and saw the video. I don't even live in the Beckley area and have not been there in twenty years. So, if the line cook was having a issue with the manager he should of went to the district manager. No, that was wrong with hitting the manager no matter what the circumstances are. In a work force like restaurants you have to work as a team and like each other. Buckley should be blessed to have a Olive Garden to go too. The citizens in Blue field/ Princeton does not. I have always enjoyed going to the Olive Garden and will continue to do so. I just don't care for listening to all the drama restaurant brawl on TV. Hoping the manager gets well soon.
