This deal was in the news a while back, but EOC will go down a list for wreckers. Hoever if you request one then they will take that one. However I have seen when they are in a hurry they will ask for Larrys.

Appalachian Towing file complaint over not getting calls but I have heard on the scanner one night where they was a wreck 500 ft up the road from them and still had nearly a hour to get there. However when you call them they always tell you 15 to 20 min. time. County police don't have that kind of time when they are just 2 or 3 of them working the area.

Larry is a jerk, he is not requested as much as he would like to think, he arrives to a wreck before the ambulance chasing lawyer

Actually you are all mistaken, Glen's Towing is by far the better choice. Faster service, better prices, larger and better facilities. Why mess with these guys when you have pros to do the work for you. I have been towed by all three of these and my choice will never be anyone else but Glen's.

Listen to a scanner - the request will be (name of company) "by request" (choice of the driver) or......the officer will indicate "next in rotation"... If the response time of the first in rotation (or requested wrecker)is not quick - the officer will request the dispatcher to call another service.

In responce to the posts on responce by area wrecker services I Have to agree that Glen's wrecker is by far the wisest choice. Thier drivers are responsible and knowledgeable and also arrive on scene in a professional manner unlike other Fayette County Wrecker Services. I was pulled over for a DUI and the wrecker that was called to tow my car was being driven by someone FAR drunker than I was. EOC needs to screen thier "rotation" a little better before something horrible happens

Please call 911. It's OK! We're here to help! Better yet, just call 911 and tell 'em what you really think and just hang up. If you get a call back, just don't answer. When the law shows up, just tell 'em what corrupt sons a bitches you think they are. Get it off of your chest - you're gonn'a feel like a million!
