Personally, I don't think so...This merely shows the frustration West Virginians feel concerning Obama's lack of concern and respect for West Virginia.
He, Biden, and his entire administration basically told the state we were totally unimportant to them even before the election bringing his administration into office in the first place.
When you can't do any better than this when you are an incumbent President in a PRIMARY election, where the only people voting are members of your OWN party, then YOU have the problem, not the voters.
Liberals will possibly blame it on "ignorant hillbilly's" not knowing any better. NOT true, they were voting AGAINST Obama, not for the Texas inmate.. plain and simple.
I agree it's a sad state of affairs for this type of thing to happen, but it's on him, not us.

You are 100% right. I have already heared people laughing and making jokes about this on tv this morning. Wait for late night for the real side splitters. Why not just leave that space blank, it would have looked just as bad if out of 150,000 voters Obama recieved 578 votes. You can't make this stuff up. We are last in the country for a reason. You guys be sure to button the top button on your bibs and comb the baccy juce out of you beards when you go to town.

No, Shootist, it's not the president who has the problem....it's the people of West Virginia who made a mockery of our sacred right to vote. Any educated person would have just not voted for Obama rather than vote for a mentally-deficient felon in prison in Texas who threatened to blow up the University of New Mexico. We're the laughingstock of the country this morning. For the first time in my life I am ashamed of my state.

And let me say also, that the people who voted for this criminal are not Democrats but Dinos and I don't understand why you don't all just switch your party affiliation to Republican and vote for your own candidates. Stop embarrassing the real Democrats.

You got one thing right, you can't make this "S" up.

The late night side splitters will be delivered by a bunch of pseudo intellectual, urban dummies who don't know "S" from Shinola.

I personally can't wait to hear Letterman for instance, with all of his MILLIONS, telling the country how us poor old, uneducated hillbilly folk are too stupid to know what is good for us:)
I watched CNN this morning and one of the panelist understood but he didn't elaborate... He said, "Something went on here but he wasn't exactly sure what."
The other "panelist" said forty percent of the people in WV have lost their minds...He was wrong... They knew exactly what they were doing. The overwhelming majority as I stated before voted AGAINST Obama...They most like didn't know who the other guy was..Simple concept that will be lost on all of the "smart" people in our urban areas with a microphone.
Read my previous statement again...Obama and Biden have tried to shaft us at every opportunity and yet, SOME democrats support his administration simply because he is a democrat?
They tell us to "bite the bullet" for the better good?...Let them bite the bullet in the next election for OUR better good for a change..
We'll walk our side of the street and they can walk theirs:)

FORTY PERCENT of REGISTERED DEMOCRATS voted against OBAMA in a state that has been a bastion for democrats for DECADES and the voters have a problem? I'll have to pause and LOL again for a minute.
We're the laughingstock of the "country" this morning?...If those people laughing can't figure out what happened here, then they are a LOT more stupid than the aforementioned gentleman wearing bibbed overalls with "baccy" dripping from his beard.
They aren't showing their "education" they are showing their stupidity and lack of common sense:)

I'm not ashamed of being a West Virginian at all.. I never have been.

Once again West Virginians want to show their ignorance nationally. No wonder the country doesn't take us seriously we love to parade our lack of education and the fact that we don't have sense enough to take the office of the president seriously. I am once again ashamed of my state!

The majority of West Virginians are NOT FAR LEFT WING DEMOCRATS.
The are not OBAMA democrats..There is a difference you know:)

How about the Obama democrats with their Axelrods, Holders, et. al. stop embarrassing the more moderate democrats?
Obama and Biden wrote us off from the very first and anyone with a brain knows it....
The old saying is true in spades here...Those that no longer support the democrats didn't leave the party, it left them.

It was a protest vote to send a message - ABO - Anybody But Obama. Go back to Florida.

Almost 21% of NOrth Carolina voters chose "no preference" rather than just skip voting for Obama.

"This outcome is a potential embarrassment to Obama in the state that will host this yearÂ’s Democratic National Convention."

Crowds are down at Obama's political appearances, swing states are tightening. The message is clear - no more obama.

Washington Post:

"The president angered voters with new Environmental Protection Agency policies, which some see as a "war on coal" and have stalled mining permits for the state's coal mining industry. Both Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin and Sen. Joe Manchin, both Democrats, have clashed with Obama on the issue, and neither has committed to supporting him in the fall.

In the latest state-by-state Gallup poll, Obama's approval rating in West Virginia was 32.7 percent. A recent poll gave former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney a 17-point lead over Obama in the state.

But Obama was unpopular in West Virginia before he took office.

In the 2008 Democratic primary, Obama lost West Virginia to Hillary Clinton by 41 points - even though her campaign was all but over.

In the fall, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) beat Obama in the state by 13 points.

Race likely plays some role here. In the 2008 primary, 2 in 10 West Virginia voters said race was an important factor in their votes - more than in any other state. Those voters went for Clinton 8 in 10 times."

Will North Carolina also be the laughing stock of the nation for passing the amendment banning same sex marriages and even civil unions?...Aren't these champion issues of the left?

Personally, I don't care if someone marries a dog.. that's their business, but obviously, North Carolina has a problem with the issue....Democracy is hard to swallow sometimes huh?:)

Our seal says "Mountaineers Are Always Free" - this year we showed we aren't afraid to buck the union and political machines.

Shootist, you are exactly right. As far as convicted felons are concerned, if it weren't for them, dead folks, illegal aliens and other various sundry and assorted prohibited voters obama wouldn't have won. Not only in WVa but in states across the nation. How else can one justify the tepid argument in suits made by the injustice dept challenging voter picture ID? If they lose these cases, and they will, the obama voter base will diminish exponentially. Poor obama, the echo from unfilled seats in Ohio and Va played havoc with his teleprompter and it was hard to hear his lies.
