So lying is good political strategy? At least you are willing to admit that Obama is a blatant liar. I have done a little additional research and according to most experts you can fudge these numbers. But according to the same experts, you dont have to cook them. This survey has a margin of error of 400,000 + or -
So with the numbers held back from two months, a third of the jobs being added were part time jobs and a margin of error of 400,000, the 7.8% rate is pretty pointless.
The real numbers are that only 116,000 jobs were added to the economy. 33% of all people looking for jobs can only get part time jobs (arent dems always the ones screaming about a living wage) and more and more people are continuing to give up looking for work.
I did not say our President was a liar. You don;t think ALL politians walk a narrow line when it comes to the truth. I think the numbers are right. This reminds me of when I was working in the mines. If we ran good we would hold back a couple cuts each night, we called it banking. Then if we had a bad day on friday or sat. we would turn that coal in to make it look like we had ran good all week. Many sat. we had 6-8 cuts to turn if we were broke down all shift. All the coal we mined was turned in just maybe not on the right day. 7.8%, who cares if it reached that number in Aug. or sept. I noticed Friday when I went to Beckley there are more help wanted signs that I think I have ever seen. Every Resturant I passed had a full parking lot, some people standing in line outside. If the economy is this bad where are all those hungry people coming from? People seem to have plenty of money. The first thing I do if I think I am going to be cutting it close with my money is stop going out to eat.

you are aware that it is the first week of the month. it drops off as the month goes on. but you have a point, we seem to be over run with car lots and restaruants. I think we need to change the name of Beckley to Meals on Wheels, USA. As far as the numbers are concerned, not sure I want to put a lot of condifence in a report that has a margin of error of 400,000. They also counted part time and temporary jobs which are not useually counted. And Im just guessing, but I imagine that growing up down there in clear fork, you mom busted your ass for telling a little lie or a big one.

It makes you wonder what other numbers are "sandbagged" doesn't it??

I've always thought it was a big coinsidence that the housing meltdown happened at a key time in the 2008 election.
