Insider, your riding a dead horse.......!
#108 Jan 25, 2013
Yeah, NEMSA gave it to me. That's about all their alleged "contracts" are worth; one dead horse, two expired Chuck-E-Cheese coupons, and a bill for $120.00 per month. What a group!!!

I posted this on the other forum:
For everyone still undecided about the Union issue:
If you were reading the posts on this and other forums, it may seem that the number of pro-Union people grossly outnumbers the number of anti-Union people. After all, there are more "different" people posting their support for NEMSA, and many of them answer and respond to one another, offering support and encouragement. Why is that?
Medic 7, it's very interesting that you accuse me of being several different people all writing under the name "The Insider," even though you offer no proof. However, I will now PROVE that redbone has written MULTIPLE posts under DIFFERENT NAMES, even responding to HIS OWN POSTS.
First, consider the following. On Jan 22, OH REALLY posted a challenge to Elephant in the room to defend the union. The next day, redbone wrote, "I gave you 24 hour's Elephant and yet no comment?" Did you catch that? Honestly, I missed it at first. But by using that "I," redbone inadvertently proved that he and OH REALLY are the SAME person. It gets even funnier: in OH REALLY's post he refers to the fact that someone had "high-jacked" redbone's name. He even attempts to make it more convincing by referring to redbone as "he/she." So we can safely assume that redbone uses different names for different posts.
Next, I will look at grammar and spelling similarities amongst several of the posts.
Going all the way back to January 16, redbone has obviously made several posts under the name "redbone." I assume that redbone will not dispute the fact that he wrote most, if not all, of the posts attributed to redbone. His writing style varies little from one post to another and certain characteristics stand out.
First, the individual writing as redbone tends to use the POSSESSIVE form of a word (adding an apostrophe and an "s") when he should be using the PLURAL form (adding "s" or "es)." For example, on the 19th redbone wrote,"you were lead into a debate with figure's even you can't argue with." He should've used "figures." On the 21st redbone wrote, "I think the 2.4 million or so member's would have a problem with it, especially the attorney's." Of course, he should've used "members" and "attorneys." On the 23rd, redbone wrote, "I gave you 24 hour's Elephant..." He should've used "hours."
This type of mistake made repeatedly is exceedingly rare. Yet, MANY of the posts written under different names SHARE THIS CHARACTERISTIC. For example, on the 20th "Thumper" wrote, "If EMT's are getting less than that..." It should be EMTs, of course; not EMT's. On the 20th, "For your information" wrote, "All information will be strictly confidential and will not be shared with employer's or other employee's." Again, we see the use of the possessive form with "employer's" (employers) and "employee's" (employees). Also on the 20th, 4wheelin, wrote, " Coal miner's are making $18.00 to $38.00 an hour in my area...", which should read "Coal miners." You can see the similarities here. They were clearly written by the SAME individual, namely redbone. Now, these examples show only relatively minor deceptions. However, he crosses the line into full blown, four-alarm lying in the next example.
On the other active forum "Jan-care worker" wrote on Thursday, "I was watching a show on sweat shops,That are in other country's." Now, clearly this is redbone. We've seen this before. However, he then ANSWERS HIMSELF a bit later as redbone! He writes in response to "Jan-care worker," " You feel the stress that EMS loads on its provider's and you get Welfare wages and benefit's..." Once again, we see the mistaken use of the possessive form in place of the plural! This is a willful deception perpetrated on the readers of this forum, designed to inflate the support NEMSA has in the company and represent a false sense of camaraderie between redbone and the people of Jan-Care!
There is at least one other person writing under several different names and I will expose him tomorrow.

ARTICLE 22 . NO STRIKE/NO LOCKOUT
Section 22.0l No Strike

Any delay in treating patients or transporting them to hospitals or other medical facilities, or
in responding to calls, can result in exacerbating the problems of ill and injured patients.

collectively, concertedly, or in any manner whatsoever. engage in. incite or participate in any picketing,

and.,explain to picket captains or other picketers why the picket line was crossed. Employees

Todd talked about how a strike would hurt the community."WRONG AGAIN".
All so about the finances. If you have over 5000 members paying what todd says will be $52 a month. That =$260,000.Half of what he call a dept.
Check out another web site todd,You can find all kinds of companies the don't want union.Just like the one you got this your deceiving trash from this time. And why don't all the existing members vote out this union? Its easy to do.Its companies like JC that write the trash."If it's on the internet it's got to be true" Love that commercial!!
Another thing about about your "open door polices". Why don't you think anyone uses that. When talking to the iron fist,Its a revolving door. That kicks you in the butt.
And now for the not getting anything on the contract. There are contracts that are in place as we speak,For anyone who would like to see one.
Its in a book form. That has work condition that really make a difference.
The strike info posted above is in the contracts mentioned.Todd is posting anything to keep the upper hand of the people of this community.Who chose to work the EMS service.Don't fall for it.
"VOTE YES FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED"

I wrote about this in a previous post: This is the beginning of the next step-threats! Like I said they'll be subtle at first ("they need their asses kicked") but they will grow more and more specific as time goes on. See, I told you!
#116 Jan 26, 2013
You can tell anyone whatever you like...I am a citizen in raleigh county and do not know the first damn thing about Ems or emts...I just think they are getting a raw damn deal...and the only dealing I have had with this ambulance company is on a consumer basis...nothing else! So you can run your mouth all you want all you want is to keep the general public in the dark and all the money with the owners and the higher ups...I figure you are one of the head of this company otherwise you would not be on here trying to discredit everyone.
#118 Jan 26, 2013
Because of more and more occurances such as this the DOT has mandated, to my understanding, the ending of ALL 24 shifts for EMS personnel. It is simply too dangerous. 12 hour shifts should be the longest period you should ever be scheduled for on an ambulance. Simply put, this thread was about the wreck that took Mark Kinder's life. Why not keep the union talk on the other Jan Care thread.
#119 Jan 26, 2013
You are so stupid DOT doesnt mandate anything for EMS. EMS are not truck drivers they are EMTs or Paramedics they dont drive for a living they render care.As for the 24 hour shifts many of these people fail to tell what they are doing between calls. Most of them have free time and are able to sleep or do what ever they want. The reason they work 24 hours is they choose to do that and be off for two days after their shift. But again there are lots of them that choose to take additional shifts for the extra money.EMS will never make the money nurses or other healthcare workers make due to the expense of the business and the low payments they get from medicaid and medicare. When every EMS worker took the job they have they were told how money they would make and about the hours, looks to me if you want change so much why dont you find another job that pays more or has less hours nobody says you have to work for Jan Care.
#120 Jan 27, 2013
It is you that is showing your ignorance. The DOT does indeed regulate EMS as we fall under their overview. Hence why when paramedics are trained the have to learn the guidelines set by the DOT. EMS workers do not chose to work 24 hour shifts. The shifts are laid out by the employer. And yes some trucks do get down time. But you obviously know nothing about EMS or you would know that down time is a precious comodity and you do not always get to sleep during that time. You have station duties, paperwork, training, as well as other things that go on. Some places do not even allow you in the bunk rooms until after 1700. As for making the money that nurses make, I make over 18 dollars an hour as a paramedic. You are right I do not have to work for Jan Care nor do I anymore. That is the same choice everyone has. Some feel they can go no place else because not everyone forces their employees to work the way a lot places do. So think about the people who work this field next time before you just randomly start typing and making yourself look not only ignorant but completely clueless as to the topic you are speaking of. I know for a fact that many EMS agencies will let people ride along. I suggest you go to one of them and ask to do so that way you might learn what those of us who work this field actualy do.
#121 Jan 27, 2013
OK so you don't know the "first damn thing about EMS or emts." If that's true then you have no frame of reference, you don't know what you're talking about, and you should most likely be ignored. I would suggest you educate yourself a little before you make any more comments. Unless...redbone? Is that you?
#122 Jan 27, 2013
No I don't know anything about EMTs but I do know enough to see what you are up too..most of the general public unless they have family who work in this field or know someone who does have no clue. I find it appalling that people who risk their lives for the general public's safety and welfare don't get a fair wage or decent working conditions. Also I can assure you I am not redbone..I have been posting on this forum for years under the same name buddy. Maybe I should speak to a few EMTs I run into several a week and ask them about the job..just make a general inquiry? I guess I can educate myself by going directly to the source...
#123 Jan 27, 2013
Your wrong on the mandate for 24 hour shifts, DOT has no law on 24 hour shifts. If we had a union here a couple of weeks ago, Mark would probably still be with us! Unions promote safety. Vote for safety, vote UNION!
#124 Jan 27, 2013
Just wondering but how close is the JC employees to becoming a union? Is it just talk threw out the company? Or has there been any actions taken like uniondale been contacted or what?
#125 Jan 27, 2013
Let me explain to you in simple terms, you are a worthless piece of crap to use this accident and the death of this young man to promote a union for your persomal gain. It is so wrong to claim a union may have saved him from the accident. I only wish that Jan Care fires you and you never get to work in EMS again.
#126 Jan 27, 2013
It is my sincerest hope that everyone at JC reads this post. I'm telling you these people will stop at nothing. They have no sense of decency, no morality, no boundaries-they will use any tragedy large or small if it furthers their agenda. They DO NOT CARE! For them, the ends justify the means. If that means exploiting a terrible, tragic accident, like the death of a community hero, they have no qualms about it.
NEMSA was contacted before Mark's death-they were already attempting to unionize the workforce well before January 15. It was going slowly. However, once the wreck happened, they were given a golden opportunity to scare JC's workers into supporting the "safety measures" a union "promises" to supply. Nevermind that despite the millions of miles JC ambulances have traveled over the past forty two years, only ONE ambulance wreck has taken the life of a JC worker (Kevin Richie, God rest his soul, was on a call when he died, but it WAS NOT an ambulance wreck).
So redbone, don't give us this crap. It not only insults our intelligence, but it trivializes and exploits the two tragedies that Kevin and Mark, their families, and Jan-Care have had to endure.
#127 Jan 27, 2013
You know insider, you have really used these poor souls deaths as a good "Anti-Union" tool!(God rest their souls) If you think that trying to prevent another tragedy like this is in anyway defaming these two men, then you! Sir... are a monster and a lying parasite!
I have no problem paying my $40.00 a month to the union for a safer, and more civilized employer. I'd give anything to have Mark or Kevin back, but the future is all we have and I support a safer future for our crews... NOW! You are vicious to turn these fellow brothers against a cause that could have saved their lives, what? for money!.....GREED is all you see.
#128 Jan 27, 2013
Insider I agree with redbon. You are and ass and a parasite. Safty is the number one thing needed around here and not your BS. Redbone it is obvious that you are looking out for the rest of us and our families, keep up the fight and you have my vote.
