<quoted text>They aren't stupid statements, I'm simply pointing out he shouldn't have been in the middle of the road, nor drunk as the other person pointed out.

I don't feel sorry for him because I don't know him or his family. Plus I don't feel sorry for drunks walking in the middle of the road. I do hope he's ok, but in all honesty I don't know him enough to care.
If you don't know him enough to care then toy should not be making random comments. There are people who do care and you are a heartless bastard for even making such comments.

I heard from a very reliable source he was drinking but not to the point he was really drunk, few drinks no real results. He asked a friend to take him home and the friend refused and told him if he didn't want to be there to walk home. So feeling out of place he walked home and got hit. The car that hit him realized what happened and sped off. People living in the area looked outside but thought they had hit an animal. Vince laid there for hours before someone found him. This could have been avoided in many ways and this was not Vince's fault. He was not drunk and being stupid, he was trying to be smart and get a ride home then he just walked and the series of unfortunate events happened. Everyone talking bad about him needs to shut up. This was not his own fault he didn't deserve this and he's fighting for his life and will probably need a few surgeries to fix everything. People need to shut up when they don't know anything about the situation

He didn't lay there for hours, if he had he would have probably died. This I know to be true.

He did lay there for over an hour actually before his mom found him. He was walking because he had to. Yes he shouldn't have been drinking but who says the person that hit him had a minivan full of kids? It was probably some drunk dumbass

I forgot to add Vince should be charged with underage consumption. He's only 19, shouldn't be drinking anyways.
You don't know if he was drinking. Sounds like you just are trying to stir the shit. What kind of being are you. Fighting for his life and you think he should be charged for underage drinking.
I'd like to add a couple of things. First Vince is the guilty one. He made the choice to be drunk in the middle of the road. How would you idiots have felt had a minivan full of kids been forced to swerve to avoid his drunk ass and went off road killing all the kids? Worse, what if some drunk redneck farmer with PTSD he got from serving in Nam seen ol Vince shambling around at midnight in the middle of the road and mistook him for a commie zombie? That's right he would of blasted ol Vince with his shotgun. What if it had been a Mack trick instead of a rice burner? Point is, we all want this guy to get better, but make no mistake he the guilty one. Cars have right away on the road, not drunks.
Another idiot. Rice burner?? What would make you say that? Do you know something you would like I share

Dumbass people need to get their story straight, his mother didnt find him a neighbor of the post office did. His injuries show he WAS NOT in the middle of the road, and how in the hell can you mistake a HUMAN for an ANIMAL & if they were that stupid to not know the difference why havent they came forward now that it is in the news that it was a PERSON not an animal that was hit that night? IF he was drinking he DIDNT deserve to be ran over and left for dead. And I feel for sure he isnt the first underage perosn to drink but at least he was responsible enough to walk instead of drive & put other people at risk. GROW UP!!!

His mother did not find him, no one knew who he was for hours. He didn't lay there an hour even. And his injuries were consistent with someone walking on the side of the road and being hit. His mistake was wearing dark clothes on a dark road. I do hope they find the person who hit him, and I do hope he wakes up and can lead a normal life.

I said the neighbor that heard the car hit something thought it was an animal. Whoever hit Vince is a dumbass and would probably be put in jail for many other reasons besides hitting Vince. That person is probably wanted for other stuff and ran knowing they would be caught.

I used to live in prosperity and hate hearing about this accident. I will be praying for this young man and his family and hope and pray they find who did this to him and bring them to justice :(

He wasn't drunk. Vince is a very good Guy and did not deserve this.

No one knows if he was drinking or not. They didn't test him or ask questions. He was at a party but didn't want to be there so if he drank at all I doubt it was much. He doesn't deserve this nobody does

So he just didn't have the ability to simply move out of the way of oncoming traffic? Sounds fishy to me, paper said he was in the middle of the road. I'm going with public intox and jaywalking. Hope he heals up, at 19 not allowed to drink. Get well soon.
The paper also says it happened at 2 am & the call went out just after 11...
