Walmart invests millions to make sure that their "associates" never unionize. According to Forbes, their CEO Michael Duke made $18,712,721 in 2011.
In the meantime, Walmart shifts its labor costs onto the American taxpayer by not providing livable wages or healthcare to its employees. In many states, Walmart employees are the largest recipients of Medicaid and food stamps.
Walmart IS the American WELFARE QUEEN.

The Waltons, Pelosis, Kerrys, Kennedys, Romneys of the world have trusts. The small business person who has worked for 30 or 40 years to build a decent business will have his life's work sold by his children to pay for some dumbass liberals sense of fairness.
They were showing a rancher in CA today who paid two million dollars in estate taxes when he inherited his ranch from his grandfather. If the estate tax goes back to pre-Bush rates, his children will owe 13 million. The family doesnt have anywhere that kind of money.

I wish they would all close down. OR better yet just have security guards at the doors and self check out, bag your own. If the workers went to work for Sallys, or Shoe Carnival, our one of the dollar stores they would be crying for their Wal Mart jobs.

There are No workers in Wal-Mart to strike, at least not the one in Beckley. Unless they hide in the back ?

If they strike they might as well close the doors for good.

And as far as China comments go, I have yet to find many American made products in any store ?

And Not many people can afford to go to Krogars or Foodlion, their prices are three times higher than Wally-World and the only other place is Save a Lot and they do not always have anything to buy , especially after food stamp time, it is all gone.

Unions are staging walkout at airlines and stores beginning Wednesday. Oakland, CA dock workers blocked from going to work today. LAX affected. Flash mobs pushed by Union to show up at stores. Union reps say they have more leverage on a holiday week so they can hurt or disrupt more people.

If it's so awful to work on a holiday, then why don't emergency departments, fire departments, hospitals, police, etc close also? What about emergency shelters for children, adult shelters, animal shelters, animal hospitals? Grow up. Lots of people have to work holidays. I have a masters degree but still have to cover shifts on holidays.

Don't get hurt while working at Wal-Mart. They try every way then can to keep you from getting your injury taken care of and helping you. All they want is the hard labor. They have their own company for their compensation. But the workers there are paid by Wal-Mart. Not really a people person employer. Just want you to work for nothing. Even if everyone stopped shopping there for one day, it wouldn't hurt the biggies and sucks.

The Federal Government is cutting off the union responsible and every employee that walks out of the store shopuld be terminated immediately for cause. If the employee doesn't like the wages or work policy quit, get a job somewhere else, Walmart didn't ask you to fill out an employment application, they offered you a job under their terms and conditions.

I'm kind of torn both ways on Wally World...
When you have people running a place and are not millionaires, but BILLIONAIRES, yet their hiring practices produces such low wages that thousands of them qualify for medicaid, which the taxpayers pay for then it's time these cheap __________ pay up.

Big deal if we go get all of these "bargains" and cheap goods we all like so well, if the taxpayers pay for public assistance to their employees...
Doesn't that mean they are screwing us coming and going?..What kind of sense does that make, except for them of course:)
