As working for this company I realized how small want to be big business owners can be. It is unfortunate that you have to fight and threaten with law suites to get paid. Never got paid on time and if you complained your hours were cut. I would not recommend anyone to work or hire out this company do to the lack of respect and communication they give.

I worked for this company for several months. The owner talks so big and bad but isn't man enough to stand his ground. He owes many employees money that he never paid. If you didn't do everything he wanted on or off the "clock" your hours was cut or you're fired, after he went and told everyone else. I wouldn't suggest anyone working for or hiring this company. The owner is so scared of competition he shuts down other small companies that may do better than him. I wonder how many employees they have working off the books nowadays?

Nighthawk Security has had its share of hard times due to former employees that want to trash the company. As a current employee I understand that the company has had problems in the past due to former employees that did not have a good work ethic. As with any company it takes time to reestablish yourself and since Mike Milam has hired his current supervisor they both are working hard to overcome all the negative image that National Security had, Nighthawk maybe small in employee numbers right now but the integrity of the staff and this company is a far cry from the negative image former employees are trying to give it. New contracts are being brought in and the company is growing. Nighthawk Security deserves to be judged on the job that it is currently doing now not the issues it dealt with when it took over National. I would definitely recommend Nighthawk Security to guard your business.

I can tell what kind of company they are just from your post. You guys are blaming the employees instead of looking at the company. If there's that many employees saying negative things about the company that it hurts the company image to people who don't work there then that's administrative problems not cause by the employees.

I've heard plenty of bad reviews about nighthawk not being professional and not paying employees. This is the kind of business WV doesn't need. Another dishonest company who isn't professional and doesn't give a crap about its employees. Crap runs downhill so don't try and blame employees for the company's poor management.

This is much better than it once was. The pay is always on time n the petty bs is now little to none. We now have a more dedicated supervisor n Sergeant. N the employees now working for the company care bout their job n the contracts we serve. Nighthawk Security is definitely becoming a much better company n much more dedicated company than it once was. I strongly recommend this company.

You sir are a dumbass. As a ex employee I never went back, due to the unfrofessionalism. The people I worked with lied about things just to leave early to go up the road and get some quick pussy from a prostitute.. So, if I were you I would choose more wisely than nighthawk. Js but hey what do I know, I just worked there.

Nighthawk security is a rip off. They dont want to pay in time. When they do pay the check will bounce if I deposit it. Due to insufficient funds. I called the number on my paycheck she told me to wait till one they had to transfer funds to account. And the number was a tracfone number not a actual busines phone very unprofessional. So if you work for them be aware.

Apparently they still don't pay employees. I do not recommend ANYONE to work for Mike Milam. Him and his wife don't answer calls, nor pay their employees. I don't even work for them, but have to watch my brother in law try to get a hold of them over and over, calls get ignored along with texts, and when asked when they're going to give the paycheck, they hang up. My brother in law has two toddlers to take care of, and waiting for a paycheck to get what they need is NOT right. If they can't pay on time, they shouldn't be business owners.

Boy, aren't you full of crap. It's now 2016, and they STILL DON'T pay employees. I've been a witness to it for two months now, and I don't even work for them or with them. Pull the wool over someone else's eyes. They are not good enough to recommend. Professionals pay their employees. Nighthawk doesn't.

And for those who want to say "the employee didn't do enough hours, or didn't show up", this employee was smart enough to log and document every hour and where he worked. So, where's his pay..? Especially when I had to watch his fiancé cry because he was always working for them. They have kids to take care of. Nighthawks business to me seems ran by a bunch of frauds.

So instead of wasting time on topix bitching do some research on what your recourse may be for dealing with unpaid wages.

WV law is extremely friendly to the employee rather than employers. Go to the damn WV Department of Labor website and more specifically to the division that deals with the Fair Wage and Collection Act. Next try your best to fill out the complaint form or have someone with more schooling do the typing for you. It will be investigated and if they find in your favor then these assholes owe you 2x what they failed to pay initially. If you can find a time machine and go back a year or so then you can get 3x what you were owed. Unfortunately last spring the law was changed to only award 2x and it also extends the time that they have to pay a terminated employee from the previously required 4 days to the current law of payment by the next regular pay day.

You're welcome.

You say you're welcome as if you've done someone a favor. Which is incredibly silly for you to assume because all you've done is annoy me. This website is designed for them to speak their mind just as they are doing. I just applied for a part time job here and was looking up reviews on the company and there are very little positive reviews.
You are welcome too

Am I more annoying than having to live in your mom's basement?

See now you'll know what to do now when your part time paycheck doesn't come.

You're welcome

If you have a family that depends on you getting a steady, punctual, and accurate paycheck you should find work elsewhere. You will never be paid on time, and when you finally do get your paycheck chances are it will bounce or will be for the wrong amount, which you can't be sure about because you will never get a pay stub. You could try to get direct deposit but I know of multiple people that tried this, me being one, and they would never set it up. Calls or text messages are never answered. You will not be supplied with uniforms or reimbursed for anything you have to buy and you will not get any training. I loved the work and the people are nice but I feel they have to much on their plate to run a professional bussiness.
