The NRA has released a free app game that is rated as suitable for 4 year olds that allows them to shoot at caskets. Wonder if those caskets have any of the Sandy Hook children inside.

Why would they use a casket rather than a target for a child's game? How gruesome is that?

When I was a kid we all had toy guns to play cops and robbers or cowboys and indians. No big deal came of it. We also watched plenty of war movies because of WW2 and WW1 vererans.
Of course we had parents that raised us instead of some NEA staffed preschool, head start and none of the current dumbed down education ststem where every student has "special needs."
When we were wrong we were punished, not coddled and we grew up much different than the mess we have today

Unlike some Beckley posters, I don't lie.

"Still, the targets are "coffin-shaped... with red bullseyes at head- and heart-level," notes Annie Rose-Strasser at ThinkProgress. Indeed, though the indoor targets don't have human features, they are certainly in the general shape of humans."

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/14/nra-...

"There are a few practice courses from skeet shooting to pop up targets to range targets, the last of which have been stripped of human likeness, yet somehow still have “red zones” in the brain and heart areas. And they also look like coffins, resulting in perhaps overly-hysterical headlines like this one. The game is free, but you can pay 99 cents to upgrade to other types of guns to shoot including the dreaded “AK-47.”

"The most outspoken critic of the video game industry in the weeks after the Sandy Hook shooting has been the NRA, content to shift the blame for the tragedy, and all others like it, away from guns. They’ve specifically called out games like Mortal Kombat and Splatterhouse as being contributors to mass murder, while calling for more real world guns as a solution to the problem.

Turns out that the NRA isn’t always anti-video game however. The group has now launched their own branded video game that proclaims it “instills safe and responsible ownership through fun challenges and realistic simulations.” The game is an app on iOS and is rated for ages 4+, implying that the NRA recommends teaching kids about guns in preschool."

Are you retarded?

"Exactly one month after the Newtown school massacre, the National Rifle Association has launched a free iPhone and iPad shooting game offering kids as young as 4 a chance to fire guns at coffin-shaped targets."

Look at the photo, you ignorant donkey.

Kind of like shooting at LL because she is brain dead. How much damage can you do to a zombie? Wonder what kind of meat she eats?

Hummm?
From Jamie's link:

"IP Lasso called the CEO of the app developer and the NRA, and both refused to discuss the subject. Pierce was puzzled that the NRA hasn’t disowned the app if in fact it is a hoax. Maybe it’s because the next question would be,“Do you think marketing a shooting app for preschoolers is a good idea right now?” And the NRA doesn’t have an easy answer for that one."

AMEN!

We also had good guys and bad guys... One could pretty much tell the difference....Sometimes, now it's hard to tell which is which.. Now the bad guy gets glorified one way or the other which sends the wrong message to kids.

I remember when I was a kid and watching a movie on television.. My cousin started cheering for the bad guy... His mother walked in the room and paddled his "A" :)
He turned out really good:)
