Jan Care Ambulance doesn't care

The men & women that work for Jan Care are way under paid and extremely over worked! Most make $7.50 to $9.00 an hour and work as many as 75 to 100 hours a week!!!Most work 24 to 48 hour shifts! It's not a job I would want, but I sure am glad there are folks out there for me if I ever need them!!! You would think the owners of JC would step up to the plate & give these folks what they deserve...By the way, I heard that any JC driver that gets caught speeding to or from a site will get written up & could get fired...Not really fair is it?

A certain authority figure from JC just got his EMT-B certification after EIGHT tries. He even got arrested at the UBB site for refusing to leave scene! He was first to arrive, and when medics and doctors arrived to take over, he would not let them take over. It was hilarous! The entire company is worthless.

FYI Heart patient any injury Jan is not allowed to break ANY O SPEED LIMITS !! Whether your in Cardiac arrest or hurt toenail !! If it says 25 MPH thats all management allows !!

I could surely say alot about Jan-Care! If you need an ambulance,and want your loved one taken care of-DO NOT,I repeat,DO NOT,call Jan-Care. You might catch them sitting on the back of their vehicle,smirking,while your loved one dies in front of them!!! Knowing what I know about them,I at least get some peace in the fact of life that "YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW!" No respect for them here!

ok im a emt for jan-care just because u live close to a station dont mean thats the truck thats responding thay could be on another call u might get on thats 20 miles away we do our best because we r the best and if ur loved one died they was going to die its good not us we just try to save them we r not god we cant lay hands and heal someone so before u talk junk about jan-care u better know what ur talking about

Quit your bitching about jancare employees, because you have no clue unless you have done the job. Saven-Lifes is not another stupid person, nor am I. Jancare employees might care a little bit more if you people would quit crying wolf all the time. Jancare is not always next door just because their stations is, we have other calls and you are not always number one. Jancare employees rarely get time to go to the restroom so how do you get that they are taking their time? Do you know that most people working for jancare get paid minimum wage to put up with your stupidity? So really, why should jancare employees get in trouble for speeding to you when you are proably making a mountain out of a molehill, and for those of you who arent, maybe you should encourage the rest of your community to do better with this issue so there are ambulances available when you need them.

Why cant you just admit that something doesn't seem right about what happened to this poor womans father, thats all it would take for you to regain a little respect back, instead you go off on these rants about how people call in when they dont really need to. "boy that is really encouraging to the public" It seems to me Jan Care has A big chip on its shoulder.People call you at the most vulnerable time in there life,it looks like you could be a little more sensitive and I might add ,a little more professional.

unless you have worked the business you dont get it. there is no chip on anyones shoulder, there arent ambulances availble because your neighbor called because he stubbed his toe. there should be laws that emts, medics should get to tell these people that they need no ems services, but there arent, thats why you have to wait for hours upon hours to get into an er department. if someone died before we got there chances are they were gonna stay dead no matter our efforts. do you people really know how often CPR works? not as often as youd like to think. people die, thats just the reality of life. its not just jancare, its all ems services.

I have the greatest admiration for every person whom I transport. Regardless of comments made towards Jan-Care, I put forth every effort to ensure patients are #1. I believe there are those individuals that make this more than a job. I believe compassion is the heart of why I got into EMS. To bash people for opinions is wrong and it is often easier to allow opinions to be expressed without getting wrapped up in a power struggle. I apologize for the loss of the person who suffered the loss of her father. The questions you seek answers for are sincere and perhaps may never be answered, however I do hope that you will find peace in all the wonderful times you shared with your loved one. One of the lasting impressions should be compassion regardless of the nature of the call. We may not always come across as individuals who seem to be compassionate, however I attempt to be the best I can at all times. Please know that regardless of your perception of Jan-Care that some of us do what we do because you matter first.

Jancare was there for me when I needed them. My father passed away but they made it to the house in 5 minutes and started working on him right there in our home. Not everyone can be saved. Also if it is your loved ones time god has a plan and sets things in motion accordingly. If it worked out where the folks on call were 20 minutes away and it would have taken 10 to get him to the hospital thats what god wanted. It was his time. God doesnt make mistakes.
