trg has to be the dirtiest company to work for in this area. they refuze to give people their bonus on checks, they have suspended ( fired ) 7 people in the past two weeks just becouse they owed them money that they worked for. they cheat people out of their unemployment by saying that they called u back to work but they never do or they refuze to take a call back from u, they treat people like crap and heaven forbit u have a family emergency cause u will be fired for missing one day of work no matter the situation. carlee pretends to be there for u but in all reality shes just as dirty as the rest. they even fired a guy for something he suppost to have done on a day he wasent even there for. and dont ask to review a call urself if ur being accused of anything becouse they will refuze to allow u to hear it. ive seen several good people loose their jobs over things that aint even right. they dont care about people or their families at this company, ur nothing to them but an expendable asset.

trg is nothing but a joke so if ur looking for a job DONT GO TO TRG becouse if the hire u they will fire u with in a few months over something they have done, like not give u things they promised, taking a day off that THEY approved for u to take off, theres no future with this place out of a class of 30 only 3 r left and they r just waiting and searching for some reason to fire them. this place needs to be shut down for unfair buisness practice.

I agree!!! When first hired, I was told I would be working 8am-5pm and I would be pd $10 during triaining. Training lasted 2 weeks when it should have been 4. They had overwhelming call volume so they put us "newbies" on the floor, when we had NO IDEA how to use the software. This in turn created many angry customers who spoke with our supervisor, who in turn, gave the angry customers our ID numbers and the complaint phone number. They then switched our hours to 5pm-1am and our checks were 3 days late!! Our tax information was all wrong. I am single with 0 children and they put in the system as widowed with 2 children!! When ever you would have a question, noone would help you. ALSO, one really creepy guy who was a supervisor to a group of 20 was listening in on MY calls & would pull me aside and tell me what I needed & didn't need to do.-i was once told only QA & Your immediate supervisor only had access to your calls.(very creepy to know anyone could listen!) Needless to say, I quit the job after only being employed 3 months. It was a horrible work environment. Now I'm waiting on my W-2.. I just wonder if it will "get lost or be late & be innacurate" as our checks were. TRG is pethetic!!

We're all adults here. Don't you think that maybe you should get your big girl panties on? I currently work for TRG. I LOVE the people I work with. I had to leave work early several times because of family emergencies and because of illness and NOTHING was done to me. I've gotten my paycheck on time every time since I started there. Its a case of whether or not you're capable of doing a phone job. Being on the phones for 8 hours a day does take its toll on you at times. I have an amazing supervisor and co-workers whom I adore. There are alot of laws that go with working on the phone, you have to follow those laws or everyone, including yourself, will be out of a job. So of course they have a huge turnover rate because people are not capable of listening and following instructions. I'm sorry that you're not intelligent enough to be able to use the software. Personally, I knew what I was doing on the phones in about 2 days... but then again...I'm not an idiot that complains about a work place on a forum. If I had such a bad experience somewhere I would have immediately filed a sexual harrassment suit against the 'creepy guy' and went to the WV Labor Board for the paychecks being late. I think I'll close this up now, again, get your big girl panties on.

I do not know about the company BUT when YOU hear ALOT about people being fired regularly and only a FEW " Big Girls" are NOt...it is normally cause the Big Girls don't keep their panties on long enough to worry about getting fired !!!

My opinion and entitled to it ...
....AND years of seeing it happen in many places....and since there is NO morality or respect for themselves now days I dare say it is happening ALOT more !!

Hey,

I currently work for TRG and I just LOVE it, this is the best place I have ever come across , I love doing overtime without extra money, I love lifting my supervisor's balls, getting late paychecks, destroying my social life, attending useless pre shifts, getting unnecessary corrective actions, Taking no breaks, Doing ODD shift timings etc.

I JUST LOVE IT.........

I'm sick of seeing comments like this from employees of lots of companies. If you hate your job and the company you work for then go work at McDonalds!

Go get yourself a good job at Beckley's TRG. The job does require that you show up to work your scheduled hours. The atmosphere is not one of hostility at all. You are needed to take the calls. When you do not show up at work, you are demonstrating that you do not care. Just look for any old excuse and it will be there. It is a pleasant place to work, to say the least. The people around you are so nice and the staff is too. Mgmt. Staff is often overwhelmed due to the fact that every call is different and their help is often needed. Sometimes it seems like they are hiding from the Reps. who need them. There is a need to keep training new Reps. for various responsibilities and the newly trained reps should be fairly compensated. I do occasionally hear some non-work related issues about firings. If these are true events then they are not legal. Management will do things to devastate others until a merciful Law or Lawyer steps in.

its freaking telemarketing... it is what it is... if you want a good job or a real job go to school get a degree and get a real job. Analabs in crab orchard is hiring and they are great to work for you just have to have a 4 year bachelors degree in a science field and they get you right in. pay raises every 6 months they take care of you. insurance benefits etc. If you don't have a 4 year science degree but do have a bachelors degree of some kind check with them about a field position to get in the door. they are great.

Does this place do drug screening? I know of a couple known users recently hired for TRG. I'm completely baffled that these people still have a job after the 2nd or 3rd week. Someone even told me about this one girl that was hired and has missed missed more time than she has been there. How do these people even keep a job. The way some of you make it sound this place is awful. Yet drug users and people who don't show up for work stay employeed.

I heard that it is a huge drug ring.. That's why most employees stay there.. Yes, there are a lot of pill heads that work there. Most pill heads know how long it takes for the drugs to get out of your system, before they drug test you. I also heard, that if you don't meet your quota, you get suspended for 2-3 days without pay. How ignorant is that?

I know it is ignorant. The employees can't help it that most people don't like telemarketers. When I worked for the one in Bluefield in the late 90s, 8 out of 10 callees would slam the phone down on our ears, LOL! I get at least 5 calls a day and I do the same thing. No wonder that place has such a huge turnover rate.

Well actually they TAKE calls from people about their phone and Internet service now, so I don't think they have that problem anymore FYI

Telemarketing is telemarketing. But, it would be a great place to work if they changed a few policies and got rid of a few crackheads. Most of the managers are great. A few of the older ones tend to stir trouble, gossip too much, and tell lies....I guess it's like that everywhere though!

I'm thinking about applying there soon. But this thread has me kind of sketched out. Lets be honest people is it really this bad? I will probably just have to wait and see for myself.. BTW what are the chances that I will get a call back if I reply?

They'll call you back because they need people....Simple as that! I've been told horror stories about their attendance policies, especially during orientation. I heard they once let a guy go who had to miss traing because of a funeral. So, no compassion for people, but will hire anyone. One manager thinks he's better than everyone else and makes fun of people behind their backs. But, it's a job-
