I feel bad for Jack. And for Ginger Bragg's mother. They are still left to deal with the early death's of their own family.
Even today no public information has surfaced on why Bragg died, beyond the 'overdose' line. You can OD accidently or on purpose, and depends on how you did the drugs and why. I've seen nothing to indicate she was taking meth or hillbilly heroin on the illegal side or legal Rx drugs such a legit pain meds, etc. Or any number of other Rx drugs for sleep, nerves, etc.
Many folks commented here on who's fault all of this was. Many blamed the media, why , I don't know as they were just reporting on things. Others Whittaker himself, portraying him as some sort of evil monster. Other, of course, place blame on his lottery win and what that may have done to the family and their lifestyle.
Ole Lottery Jack is still kicking, still rich but a lot wiser. He's had to learn the hard way, and, regardless of how much dough you have, they don't call it 'the hard way' for nothing. He's paid for whatever misdirections his life has taken, over and over again. No person should have to deal with such heartbreak. Even Jack 'Lottery' Whittaker.
So, let's give him a break and let his daughter RIP. She is the real victim here, if there is one, anyway. Her life is over, and at a very young age from 2009. It's all too bad.
