I think it is a shame that they got all this land for nothing, when people were having a hard time making it.Then they hide behind Burning Rock getting grants at tax payers expense. The county commission should make them pay their Fair share of TAXES instead of taking from the citizens of Raleigh county.Beaver coal and Burning Rock are a joke.

In my opinion the Biggest Crooks in WV. Emmitt makes sure Raleigh County Commission gives beaver land our tax money, then him, woody duba, martin from ccc, then get your money for themselves when you go to burning rock. this place is a joke.

Beaver coal is a dirty co.They took several leases from people to make burning rock. Some of those familys took care of those leases, and paid for them for 30 years.Beaver coal told the people they had 30 days to get OFF and leave anything of value there it was theirs even if you bought and paid for it.The county commission allowed them to do it.The county commission also give them raleigh county taxpayers money even though beaver coal is sitting on millions.

You must lead a pretty sorry existence if this is all you have to worry about . They are a non profit . They bring riders to the area who in turn spend money in your communities . The mineable coal is gone from the property unless you want to mine pillars . They could sell it to a land company who would timber it , then you would call it an eyesore . They could mine the pillars , but again you would complain. The riders and zipliners look a little better , huh ? If you have weight to your accusations , bring suit against them . Otherwise , grow up , election time is drawing near , shouldnt you be out campaigning for obama ?

They shouldnt have allowed burning rock to be non profit , when beaver coal is all about making a profit The only one making money is beaver coal, while the taxpayers pay for it.They must belong to the GOP. For your info they are mining and timbering on the property as we speak. I guess beaver coal thinks its reganomics, and the money will trickle down to the less fortunate, but it dont,it stays in beaver coals pocket. they are laughing at the taxpayers all the way to the bank.Make beaver coal pay their share.Ibet you voted for bush, the worst president ever other than regan

I agree beaver coal is a dirty co. If they are non profit at burning rock it needs to be looked into, cause I would like to know why the county commission would give beaver coal money to start burning rock.that was county taxpayers money, beaver coal is a land baron who probably has millions of dollars in the bank. I agree with the posts above make beaver coal pay their share.

I know someone that had their lease taken by burning rock.Burning rock told them to leave everything they was taking it. He took care of the land and paid for it for years.Beaver coal never compensated him for anything they took. They told him he had thirty days to get off and dont take anything with them, cause it was theirs even though beaver coal never spent a dime on it.Beaver coal is a dirty co. The man working for beaver coal was very snide in the way he talked to the man,it was like we will do what we want screw you.If the county commission give taxpayers money to beaver coal they need put in jail.

Never sign a lease without reading the fine print. A lease is just a another fancy name for rent.
