What are the best places to buy furniture in Beckley? Who has the best selection with good prices? Thanks in advance!!

I'd try either National or Darnell Furniture. I would have said Maxwell Hill Furniture, but it's going out of business. You might get some good buys there if they have anything left. I wouldn't go to the big one that advertises on TV all the time. They are expensive and don't honor their warranties. Go online and look at their customer reviews. You'll certainly go elsewhere! I would go to Darnell Funiture i bought over 5000.00 funiture from them they were great to work with everthing was delivered on time without any problems.The sofa developed a problem in about a week but Me Darnell ordered us a new one with no problem.

Thanks all!! I REALLY like Hometown Furniture in Pineville. We went to Maxwell Hill Furniture, but the prices still seemed kinda steep. I mean, Hometown, you can get a whole living room full for less then $1200!! And they have really nice stuff.

Try Tradeing Times for furniture or yard sales since folks looseing homes must move and they are saleing there furniture so wont havve be transported to new location.

Darnell furniture is great! I went to John Eye's, they were rude, so we went to Darnell's. We ended up spending close to $5,000. I won't go anywhere else.

I like National. We bought our appliances and have had great service.
We have been back and told them we wanted to look. They actually left us alone and did not hassle a sale on us. I got to shop and not ran off like at other places from being followed and pitched sales.

I checked around,went to all the places suggested and National is OUTSTANDING. I got the most friendly service as soon as I walked in the door and they took a lot of time with me and gave me some deals. If anyone else is looking for furniture and appliances, I highly recommend them. No need to go to several places.. I like that. And the prices were very reasonable, even before the extra deals. Thanks all for the suggestions!!

Sounds like we all had similar experiences at John Eye/Big Sandy. They do not honor their warranties---and are expensive too. Never again will I shop there!!!

My friend has has some issues with Big Sandy in the Princeton area, as well. Same thing with warranty, and broken appliances.

Checked out Maxwell Hill furniture again. Seems prices are falling now . I got a good deel on a quality livingroom group.

John Eye's do HONOR their warranties! If you wouldn't buy the warranty look at how much money you would be out to get it fixed!!!!
