in july i made the biggest mistake in the world i traded my 1999 dodge caravan in to take advantage of the cash for clunkers program at hometown kia. i thought getting 4500 for this van with 220000 miles for a fuel efficent kia rio was a smart thing boy was i wrong the new kia is nothing but junk i took it back for work to hometown what a joke. the car has 5788 miles the driver seat has come apart, passenger side door handle is broke, i have done replaced the headlights 3 times, brake light once, air bag light stays on, at 70mph it shimmies, have done had one flat tire, what else could go wrong, i wont take it back to hometown i dont like there service it sucks and not friendly iam going to take it to charleston or princton to have all this fixed and if it mess up one more time after that the piece of junk is gone. i will take a huge loss but i will trade it for a dependable car i know you get what u pay for. but i will pay more to get what i pay for toyota,or chevrolet will treat me much better. becouse this thing will be luck to see 50000 miles..

1 If you fix the same thing 3 times, you can claim the lemon law. Call and ask a lawyer that deals with that. I had Kia Sephia and my rotors, brakes and drums twice. I was on my way there a 3rd time, when my motor locked up. They said I didnt put any oil in it. I had to prove THEY changed my oil and didnt put a drop in it. I got me a new car and you can bet, it wasnt a Kia. |

I bought a Hyundia Elantra 5+ years ago and I have been very pleased with it. It is now paid for and I feel as if I am still driving a new one!

I bought a Kia Sorrento in 2005. It has been a decent vehicle, with a couple of small problems that were both promptly fixed under the warranty. It has been hands down better than the Chrysler Town and Country I had before it. Now that was a pile of junk. |

1 I got my ass burned at hometown kia. I paid cash for a used car with the promise of certain repairs. 10 days later, the salesman told me they would'nt do any work or repairs. I have two witnesses. Soon as I pay for the repairs then my lawyer will sue for all the money i have spent and more. People hometown kia, at ernie davis' hometown crooks and lies. also the attorney general may just take away some licenses. Dont do business with these dishonest people. I have heard that Mr. Davis is honest.I dont believe it. Somebody is training his salesmen to lie and be dishonest. |

I had trouble with my Kia. My mom owns a Kia and she has had no trouble with hers. Shoot, she even got 62 miles per gallon of gas. Its only registered for 35 mpg. We set the gauges before we left and when we got down south to our destination, we checked it. It only costs us $35 for gas to go on. On the way back, it costs $42. We got 51 mpg. on the way home. I cant remember what kind of Kia she has. My stepdad bought it before he passed away. I told him about the trouble I had out of mine. Im glad my Mom is lucky with hers.

They gave someone I know a horrible deal on a new Kia. I told them to go elsewhere and they didn't listen. Only gave her 3 grand for her trade-in when good KBB value was over 6 grand on it. I tried to tell her! She wouldn't listen!

I tried to trade in my 03 Land Rover with 60,000 miles on it there once and they told me they might be able to give me 5 grand for it. I laughed in their face and have never set foot back in their lot again!
