Agreed 100%. My 5 year old sings his own version of their jingle: "Suddenlink; We're NOT connected." My internet has given me problems ever since they took over and our Pay Per View never, ever works. The customer service is great, I must say, but the product is terrible.

My speed is fine. When it was charter, my god, it was annoying. My speed was up and down, my modem constantly reset itself; I've had one issue in the past several years, and my modem crapped out on me. That was it. Suddenlink replaced it, I haven't looked back since. I run a home network as well. This consists of two home computers and several gaming consoles that can at times go all at once. I'm sure sometimes there are issues, but that's with anyone. I'm a heavy internet user compared to most and haven't had any issues.

Thank you, Tina. I've actually had service men out here numerous times. In fact, there was one span of time in which we had a service man out 3 or 4 times in one week plus numerous calls because the internet kept going out and eventually the cable became snowy and was unwatchable at night. As I said, the customer service people were incredibly nice and understanding of my frustration, but the price of cable and internet is hardly cheap, so it is infuriating that it never seems to work properly. The internet hasn't gone out in awhile, but every time we try to browse Pay Per View, it's like the whole system locks up and the cable box turns off and resets and then it takes several minutes for everything to reload. And more often than not, we get an error message when we try to purchase a movie or watch an on demand movie. My work absolutely depends on me having internet access, so it's more than an inconvenience when mine goes out, especially when it's out for hours or even days. I'm always appreciative of the help we receive from Suddenlink's staff and have only ever had one customer service rep that was rude and difficult to deal with and that's an amazing statistic given the number of folks I've had to talk to since being a Suddenlink customer. Thanks again, but time has proven that it's a product deficiency and I'm saddened by our lack of options in this area because with all the services I pay for, it's a major waste that I so often can't utilize many of them. None of this even mentions what a rip off it was when Suddenlink changed their movie packages and we lost Show Time and The Movie Channel, yet still pay the same price.

You think SuddenLink is bad, try DirecTV. Now talk about a rip off, they are. If you don't believe me, go to google and type in (red tape directtv). When I signed up, I had to stay 2 years with them. My 2 years is up Aug.2010 and they can come get their equipment. They never get your billing right, and always charge you extra for things you never asked for. They are the biggest rip off!

SuddenLink loses packets to much (internet pretty much drops out entirely for couple seconds) and I've had tech after tech after tier 2 tech come out here to check the lines. Sudden Link sucks balls and they do not know how to fix it. I wish someone there knew how to fix this problem that i've had for atleast a year.

I decided to cancel my basic cable service in May because I felt I was no longer getting good value for the cost which keeps going up. There are so many channels to choose from but there is rarely anything on that interests me. Suddenlink will try everything they can to keep you as a customer except actually stop billing you. It is now August, my service has finally been terminated yet they keep playing games with the termination date. I would call every time I received a bill and would be lied to each time, told that the issue was taken care of. Then another bill comes.

My problem with them is I am able to order PPV movies but when the movie starts all I get is a black screen & no audio. They sent a service tech out but he could not resolve it. He even replaced one box although I told him it wasn't the box because the one in the bedroom acted the same. Luckily I recorded all the incidence as proof so I could get a credit on my bill. Still waiting for my next bill to see if they made good on that. Hey Tina the problem is on your end. I think they would prefer you order On Demand because those can not be recorded like PPV when it's working correctly. Devious!!!!!!!!!!

I too have issuses with suddenlink. The service is just barely ok . The pricing is ridiculous way too expensive . But my biggest issue- Has anyone ever walked into the harper road location to pay their bill.I have done this twice both times I stood in line for 30 min or more to hand these people $100. No customer should ever have too wait even 10 min to hand them $100. On the occasions this happened there were people in front of me and behind me feeling the same way. When treated rudely by the "ladies " at the window I insisted on seeing their supervisor and treated her rudely. I imformed this supervisor I was just giving back what her staff had given me.If given a viable alternative I d can suddenlink-NOW!!!

I've had Suddenlink since they took over our cable from Charter. That was quite a few years ago. In all of those years, there's only been a few times I have lost my service. Once for being really behind on my bill, a couple times for REALLY bad snow storms, once during a flood and once in a thunderstorm when my power went out...but my Suddenlink net stayed on for as long as my laptop stayed on and more then likely after. lol It takes a lot for it to go out. I had a few issues with the phone service when they started it, but like everything new, there were some bugs that needed worked out. I wouldn't trade Suddenlink for any other provider no matter how much savings or big promises! At least when I call Suddenlink, which isn't often, I get a real person who actually speaks English! Nothing against people other languages or foreign people, but when I push the button for English, I'd like to talk to someone I understand.

I have to say Suddenlink is without a doubt the worst internet ive ever had. We used to have Cox in this town but they were baught by Suddenlink.
when Cox ran the place, i never ever ever, had 1 single problem with my internet or TV. The month suddenlink baught them out, the service went to complete crap, i've always had the same package...i've always downloaded at 1500kbs, but 2 weeks ago, all of the sudden i get 200kbs down...max, but my package never changed, my bill never changed.
on top of the slow internet, since Suddenlink took over, every single night around 7 PM i get an insane amount of packet loss. which is quite unfortunate for me because i make a living on the internet, im a professional gamer, and when i lag out due to packet loss....i lose my game, needless to say, i lose money, and my sponsers frown upon losing a game. it would be incredible to get a tech that does something OTHER than "well i replaced your modem, and you have good signal on the cable, and you arent losing packets right now, looks fine to me"...yea, come back at 7-8PM and you cant even load google because you're losing to many packets, or the internet is completely out.
needless to say if there was 1 other cable company here, i'd drop suddenlink for ever, and piss on the modem, melt it, then take it back to them to show my appreciation.
