Dickies tastes like mother Teresa's saintly tampon were plucked from her loins, then slow roasted in a rusty smoky pit, smothered in sweet barbecue sauce then warmed under a heating lamp. Yea. It's that good.

Worst barbecue sandwich I'd ever had. I really dislike places that give you the pork and you have to put your own sauce on. Yuck! I wouldn't go back even if it was free.

I have had B-B-Q from here to Tex-Mex and every where between. The meat at Dickies is comparable to south Texas BBQ. It's pretty good stuff and the slaw is great, the sauce choices are good from spicy to mild to sweet , a little for any body's taste
The meat is drier than a Memphis BBQ but that is what it's suppose to be .

If you prefer a place that doesn't give you a choice of sauce to put on it maybe you need to stick with Mickie Dee rib mystery meat sandwich.

Haven't had it myself, but one of my guys told me the brisket was tasty, but a little dry. Aside from that, he said everything else was excellent.

I ate there last week and the brisket was way too dry and for $9 you get about 4 slices and 2 sides in very small cups and a yeast roll. Add a drink and its over $11. No where near worth the price.

southern reds is much better but they moved into that new place and did away with most or all of their wait staff they need to be open LATE LATE LATE like 3 am and hire 4 times the folks to work and they would get out of that shit hole gas station spot and back into a nice building. they have the best product in town and dont have sense enough to market it right... do some advertising get the name out there do samples and provide catering for benefits get your food in peoples mouths and they will come back and eat like chick fil a does. They bring free food everywhere and their pockets are overflowing with money.

Place is a joke.... I have never been to a BBQ joint where they actual weight the amount of BBQ they give you! Come on dickies, are you that tight. It's such a turn off and all of your portions are to small. A good ole BBQ joint serves you plenty of portions and they don't weight your portions!!!! Cheap a$$es!!!!!!!

you cant even spell Weigh..... weight is the amount something "weighs" However your base point is correct they should give larger portions and just increase the prices a good bit. Load it up and charge me double and i would be just fine with that.

I was in Dickies yesterday and ordered the rib plate. This is the 2nd time I have eaten there since the week they opened. The first time the rib plate was excellent, juicy and cooked well. Yesterday the ribs were very dry and salty tasting. I cannot comment on the pulled pork. I may give them one more try because I know they can do better. If I get a bad meal then I won't go back. I feel they may not make it here with other food restaurants if they don't get their act together.
