As a lifetime resident of Pedricktown, I tiotally disagree! Re-Open the bridge!!!! It is a big inconvience not having it functioning. The only bad thing that comes from that bridge are the arrogant people who don't know how to use a one lane bridge!!!

OMG!!! Please build a new bridge. I can speak for everyone else is my family which is about 12 of us that live in pedricktown. And all the rest of my family that lives in Logan Township. We all miss the bridge. All I say is that the new bridge needs to be alil wider. And Not Curve around.. It was hard to see if cars were getting onto the bridge.

I spent the first 37 years of my life in Pedricktown, and I can remember what a huge inconvenience it was every time the bridge was closed for repairs. I definitely sympathize with everyone who wants the bridge to be replaced! I just hope that regulations will allow the replacement to be limited to 4 tons or so in capacity, as the old bridge was, to prevent big trucks from Pureland from using Mill St. as a shortcut.

I've lived in Pedricktown for 50 of my 52 years, and have lived on Mill St (both East and West) for most of them. While I agree that it is an inconvenience not having the bridge open, there are still two routes available to get to the Beckett/Pureland area, and I've found the inconvenience minimal...and it has been great not having traffic speeding through town. However, if the county can rebuild the bridge with a four ton weight limit, lower the speed limit through town, and enforce both of those limits, then i'm all in favor of replacing the bridge.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Libra

You're full of empathy and affection today, so it would be a shame not to spread it around. It's a marvellous day for a low-key get-together with some of the people you haven't seen during the past few days, because you'll enjoy having a good chat about what's been happening. Once your social duties are out of the way you'll love curling up on the sofa with a good book or a favourite film.
