isn't it funny other county planning commissions are doing something while Franklin county's just sits there.

RUSERIOUS

So.

Why Worry
|
Please don't tell the people in St. Thomas about the growth. Anything having to do with planning and especially Zoning is considered evil, big government inspired, and boardering on the Demonic. If these words are even uttered it MAY even bring out once again the St. Thomas Militia.

Well, who the heck can get to St. Thomas out rt. 30? The lane for west bound 30 was backed up clear up to Franklin St. on Friday. That is simply poor planning. They could have made that intersection safer by making it a NO LEFT TURN intersection. No left turn from Sollenberger Rd. onto Rt. 30. They could have eliminated that Louden St. point, made Louden St. one way; two lanes east bound and two lanes west bound to keep traffic flowing. There are so many other options that could have been explored. Are these the same guys who came up with that Norland Ave. intersection? I get a big laugh every time I go out that way....Couldn't it have been easier to post a sign that "left lane must turn left"? What the heck is with that little merge crap all of a sudden anyway? What great planning.

Now the west end of town will get the wonderful planning the east end recieved. Coming from the east 2 lanes to 1 bottle neck, going west 2 lanes to 1 bottle neck. Are these engineers even educated???????
