What is wrong with the Boro Council? Your town needs people that are educated and concerned to run it. Drugs are everywhere, kids and younger no goods are running around all hours and people drive like idiots. WHERE ARE YOUR 8 hr a WEEK POLICE? I am trying so hard to have my Daughter and son in law and grandchild get out of that town. Beavertown at one time was a nice town with good people, what happened to them? It is time to get with the program up there people and get rid of those council members who just want to have their nose in everything to feel like they are important and get real concerned citizens in there or you will have more problems than can be handled, may be to late anyway. I dread going up there the only thing that seems to get taken care of is the boro's property "ie:ballfield, boro building and the playground to the rear" and everything else has gone to hell for example, my granddaughter wrecked her bike in a large hole on one of the alley's, this was brought to the Boro streets councils members,Boro Manager and Boro Secretary which "agreed" probably so not to deal with it... my Daughter was assured it would be fixed, that was three years ago. I just hope things change for a safer environment, for my grandchild and the honest citizens. Stop boasting your self importance council members, you know who you are, and focus on your surroundings!!!!
