A promising lead in the search for missing Alejandra Wilson, the 23-year-old Pacific Crest Trail hiker, evaporated late Friday when a helicopter crew scoured tracks in the snow and found no signs of the Portland woman.

I found her yesterday while on my motorcycle. Nobody rescued her....she not only spent 7 days on Mt Adams in very harsh conditions but she hiked out by herself. Pretty darn impressive.
