That's what I like to see - a little investigative reporting instead of the hip, hip hur-rah for any tax increase.

Hey, explain why you people need 500k homes for?

Do that first, then they'll explain the levy to you

Teachers need to get ut of their bubble and see reality as it is in the private sector.

I think the average person doesn't understand government budgets - it has nothing with 500k houses. If everyone had a 500k house then the new norm for rich would go up as well.

I will not vote for the school levy. The teachers and the school have not been that good of a steward with our mony. Show me why they need so much to run a school? NO MOR INCREASES...SUCK IT UP!

I think the school board needs to break down the costs vs. income so that the normal Joe Blow can understand. Not too hard to create a spreadsheet that shows Commercial Prop. Tax Income, Residential Tax Income, State Funding Income, Military Income then show the expenses. We have two major malls in our area that we are getting property tax from and a ton of commercial real estate, along with the residential real estate taxes that the schools get from these ($500K )homes. Everyone just needs clarification as to where and how all this money is being spent.
