From my personal experience, he is lucky it wasn't Directv. They never make mistakes and if they do that's too bad you still need to pay!

I would have written a $16 million check and included a note that said "My check is as ridiculous as your bill."

The error wasn't in how much was owed, the error was in who the bill was supposed to be adressed too. The 16 mil. bill was supposed to go to a federal office in the area!!!

Time Warner pays it's employees a poverty wage so you can imagine what kind of employees they retain. If you want an example, try calling their "customer service" line to get a problem resolved.
