If you're a woman voter or registered to vote, & wish to know if there is really a republican party war against you {a woman}, or only wish to learn the facts about it, please go & check out this Topix link. Because there is one aimed at women over the last 2 years. The link has a lot of information regarding it.

It's only a link to another Topix thread so it's safe to go to.

Obviously you haven't checked the facts. The women working for this administration are making less money than their counterparts and there are less than the previous administration. Also, a higher percent of women are NOt working the last four years. You can post this stuff all you want MOST women are living the reality of this administration.

This woman will be voting for Romney. So will my daughters. They are far more concerned about the cost of food and gasoline than they are interested in free birth control.
All of them are working in fields where they are paid as well as men.
Obama is frantic if he must resort to pandering free birth control to garner votes

I am writing because my sister asked me too.

The simple truth, if you are interested in the truth is we blacks was a big help to getting Obama in office, and he shit on our heads. Black unemployment is 12 percent and growing. If Obama is elected again, the whites and other ignorant people elected him as the black man has seen enough.

I am a African American College Professor originally from Dayton and my family is still there. After Obamas messed us all up, and yes, even I am feeling the aftershocks of Obama and all he really stands for. I do not know how you people are making it in the city.

Take care, and lets try to get through until we can get some help with the gas and prices and jobs.

Mitt Romney may or may not be the best man for President of America, but he has my, and every black Americans vote I am aware of. We have seen enough. Like I said Romney may screw up the place even more, but he has not screwed us yet. We cannot say that about Obama.

I believe Romney will do his best to fix the mess we have. It is very important he have both a Republican House and Senate to work with him.
You have an open Senate seat in Virgina. I do not know the name of the Republican candidate for Senate in Virginia, but I urge you to vote for the Republican in that office too, and against Tim Kaine.

So many ads and propoganda from the media have warped the "real" issues that women voters care about. I agree that most of us are worried about how to balance our budgets and keep food on the table. We are not worried about free birth control. They insult our intelligence when they think our vote can be bought so cheaply. Today O and B are in Dayton oh trying to convince these people they are better off --- after all they got obamaphones. We only have to drive by the empty delphi buildings and empty manufacturing facilities to see the result of the last 4 yr policies. Our husbands, our sons, our daughters and brothers and sisters are all needing jobs ---- not handouts. With the largest number of people on the assistance roles in history...we need "change" NOT PROMISES!

Here's one as bad as Akin.

Indiana Republican Richard Mourdock said this during a debate with Rep. Joe Donnelly.

"Life is that gift from God that I think even if life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen."

Rape and pregnancy from it is the result of God's will and he intended it to happen to a woman?

No, God does not cause rape. Such evil is the result of an indivual exercising his free will to ignore God's law. God still has a plan for the life of a child conceived by rape, even though He did not plan the rape.
There is a gentleman active in the pro-life movement who is a child of rape. He is profoundly grateful that his mother chose to give birth to him and raise him herself. I forget his name, but he is a living example of what God can do.

So you think something can happen anywhere on earth that God does not want to happen? God controls all things, even those we fail to understand.

You need to tell that to a lot of the Republican party leaders. Because they believe otherwise.

Rape is one of the most violent crimes which can be committed against a women. A lot of men cannot understand how it affects a woman for her entire life. It's even worse if it's a very violent rape where she is beaten and left for dead.

Rape and pregnancy from it is the result of God's will and he intended it to happen to a woman? I'll put Mourdock's statement from yesterday again even though someone else already has.

"I think, even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen."

How many of these type men are there in the Republican party? I've lost count. And that is the truth, I've lost count. There are that many. The weird part is whenever the party finds a total sexist bigot they run him for office. The 'new' Republican party has drawn them like honey. I think maybe one of the reasons is because the party is so deeply catering to an extremist-religious movement which has taken over a large segment of the party. My friend and I listed some of them in our thread. Read it. All of it if you don't believe me.

Vice-Presidential candidate Paul Ryan among many others 'have' signed bills attempting to ban abortion for rape and incest victims, for women who's health and life are endangered by pregnancy, and no matter what the age. Even for a female child which could die from it.

But read the thread on the link all the way through. Only a bit of it touches on abortion, it mostly covers many other issues of targeting women by the Republican leaders over the last two years.

The old Republican party no longer exists. It's been taken over and all the old Republican beliefs are no longer there.

Not all Republican men (as in voters) are sexist. I will not stereotype and claim all Republicans are the same, because they are not. But there are those, higher up in rank in the Republican party though, who step completely into the stereotypes available for them. The facts are there in the link thread. All those things listed are from only the last two years and from the same source ..... the Republican party leadership.

Unfortunately, they are the ones making the decisions that effect us.

Like I said above, the Republican party from a few years ago no longer exists, and the old Republican beliefs are gone. It's now a 'new' party which is fully catering to the ultra-rich, and a large segment of the party has been taken over by an extremist religious movement which wants to force their beliefs. An example is Romney last month even campaigned with Pat Robertson of the 700 Club. Here are two quotes by Pat Robertson.

"The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism, and become lesbians."

It sounds like something the Westboro Church bunch would say at a protest at a soldier's funeral.

“Well, you could become a Muslim and you could beat her. I don’t think we condone wife-beating these days but something has got to be done.”

Robertson said the last thing in answer to a man asking Robertson what he should do about his wife who doesn't respect him. Something has to be done? What is the 'something' which should be done to correct disrespectful wives? Robertson doesn't think 'these days' we condone wifebeating. I don't think we 'ever' condoned it, have we? Maybe back in the 'good old days' which a large part of the 'new' Republican party and religious-extremists are attempting to take women back to.

You are wasting your time. These idiots only read their nut blogs like Newsbusters, Fox News, and get their information from talking heads like Rush and Hannity. Without them, they wouldn't be posting here.
