Local organizations protest gas prices

We've all been shaking our heads at the rolling numbers on the gas pump, but now those fed up with the price of filling up hope crowds of protestors will change the trend.

This article only shows how ignorant the SCLC leadership and Wes Wells truely are. Wells has caused trouble in this area for decades. He knows absolutely nothing about business but he is a firm believer that uneducated and unskilled workers should be paid big bucks by employers. The SCLC is another nut case entirely. You would have to be an absolute fool to follow anything these idiots say. Gas companies are a for profit operation. Look at the profit margins of "big oil" they are lower than many other major companies. They make a large profit based on the huge volume of product they sell. Educate yourself on how business operates so you don't sound like an utter fool in the future.

No arguments on that fine piece of commenting. It's crap like this that's leading this country into a socialist type of government state. To protesters: Get a better paying job! or practice being a bit more conservative! When I was a kid we weren't allowed to have the expensive stuff! My folks didn't protest-they WENT TO WORK!!!!!

But why go to work when there is a government that if some people cry enough it will just hand them whatever they want.

Just like you, when I was a kid if we wanted something we did odd jobs to EARN the money to buy it.
