What is wrong with this place? Everytime I go through drivethru I'm waiting 30 mins for something so simple as a cheeseburger and sweet tea and the employees are rude as hell. Never going back again!

That mcdonalds was absolutely the worst place I've ever worked out of 3 jobs. The only reason why I stayed as long as I did untill I unfairly got fired was because I would get so much overtime and I needed it because I live with my mom who has cerebral palsy. But the stress was unbareable most the time and every time I go thru any fast food drive thru or inside, and it takes longer than it should to get my food, I can only image what kind of pure hell the employees are going thru. And I don't ever get angry or upset that it's taking long, I don't cuss them out or get irate or anything because I know that they just might be having a hard time like I did. Working fast food is so stressful and sometimes hard (not physically hard work) but hard to keep up with everything. Because customers want thier food ready the instant they order it and if it's not ready in 2.3 seconds they will throw a kiniption fit. If you've never worked fast food you wouldn't know and I suggest you don't ever work somewhere like that maybe exept chick Fil a, I worked there before and it was so nice. But the McDonald's in beaver just sucks to work for and to eat there and I'm sorry if I ever got your order wrong or it took longer than a few minutes to get your food while I was on the clock, if I could of made things faster believe me I would have because I hated to be the one cussed like a dog and have people literally threaten to kill me over something I had no control over. I hope this answers your question, anymore questions just ask. It feels good to finally vent!

80 things to keep up with by himself, and had to switch everything to breakfast by himself and the grill only could cook about 20 patties at a time and we would have umpteen million orders back to back to umpteen million back for double cheeseburgers and all the other stuff on the menu at 1:50am when we would "try" to be getting the breakfast ready in the same grill and customers would wait 20-30 minutes for breakfast to even be cooked then another 10 minutes to get it all together cause we had to do a tempature check on everything before we served it. It was utter chaos all the time. And I'm sure it still is. And when the doors opened up all night long, not only did I have to run drive thru register but I had to run front counter register both at 2am when all the drunks would come through ordering 50$ worth of stuff at 2 in the morning. AND TO MAKE THINGS WORSE, EVERY SINGLE STINKING NIGHT, the stupid registers would have to be shut down because the manager had to do the daily close and the credit card machine and the WHOLE entire register system would be shut down for sometimes 1-2 hours and I had to hand write everything down on paper then use a calculator to figure the price up, then yell every individual item to the guy in the grill (sometimes dozens of items per order) and wait to him to fix it and the drive thru line and front counter line kept getting longer with people waiting for ever for thier food. This happened every single night I worked And it was worse on weekends. Customers would come thru asking if we were doing the limited midnight menu and I would have to say no we stopped that you can get anything and they were like "H*ll yeah that's awesome" and I would think to myself "that's what you think but it just slows down every thing and you might get it in 30 minutes." not that I wanted ppl to wait but there was nothing I could do to speed things up. I had no control over the stupid registers or employees calling off or the equipment breaking down or whatever it was. Sometimes in the day time I would have a bager to bag all the food and it would be messed up soooooooo many times and I had to fix it which just slowed things down. And ANOTHER thing, I could go on and on, but the automatic drink machine would always mess up at least every other 5 orders, and it would crush the styrofoam tea cups and overflow the other cups for soda and put the wrong soda in a cup, and have "motor error #2" all the time EVERY DAY 100 times a day every single dang day. And ANOTHER thing that really ticked me off was the stupid drive-thru times, it was susposed to be under 90 seconds on the screen but it would start counting when the customer pulled up to the sign and started ordering, and almost always, unbeknown to the customer, they would take over 90 seconds to order, they would be in the cell phone or change their order at the window or forget where they put thier wallet or purse or something. An it would affect all the other customers in line, and the managers were so worried about getting the drive thru times down they often made mistakes with the orders because they are constantly in a hurry because corporate office actually moniters the drive thru times an all the other times and the managers are always freaking the heck out to get times down, but if they would take 3-5 seconds to check every bag for the right food then they would have a lot fewer mistakes and I tried to tell them that but it went in one ear and out the other. There were costomers that accused me of being on drugs because I would be so tired all the time from working double shifts but I never touched any drugs or alcohol or even smoked a cigarette in my whole life, I'm a Christian and go to church and have been for as long as I can remember

Hi, I just randomly saw this topic about this mcds and I can say because I know, because I worked there for 5 years, I know how it was for customers to wait on their food for a long time. I usually worked in the drive through overnight, but I did work all shifts but not in the kitchen cause I preferred not to handle people's food just in case if it was wrong I didn't want to get blamed, but I did get cussed out and blamed for stuff all the time but I could handle it well and that's why I lasted for 5 years. You might even know who I am. I was fired in September last year over something totally stupid that I did not do. But the reason the place is like that is because they don't ever have enough employees to run the place and there is so much stuff to keep up with, and the ppl that do work their shift doesn't ever get proper training for everything. I've had customers wait at least an hour at the drive through because we would be so busy that the ppl running the grill just could not keep up with the orders and the equipment would always ALWAYS malfunction for example one of the ovens had a "heater error" every single day at least 10 times a day EVERY DAY FOR ABOUT 7-8 MONTHS! And the other oven would not work sometimes so some products like apple pies and biscuits and cookies were almost always messed up. On nights when there would be a shady football game and we would get slammed I mean SLAMMED we never had enough employees working because at one time there was only 18 employees on the roster to run the place 27/7 and most if them was in school and had to be out by 11 and couldnt start till 4pm. I myself worked 25 hours straight through for them because they didn't have anyone else to work drive through. A d the turnover rate is sky high, ppl called off EVERY SINGLE SOLID DAY OF THE WEEK. I know because I would be there every morning at 5 when I was supposed to go home and every time the phone rang I was like, well there's someone calling in my overtime for this week. I was so frustrates because I would try my hardest for customers to get their food right and in a decent time but I had no control over what was going on in the grill area, and I know customers was upset but I always kept my cool when I was cussed for something beyond my control. I had a lot of customers come to me personally and tell me that they only come there if they saw my vehicle in the parking lot cause I was the nicest friendliest employee there and I always made 100% sure (or at least tried very hard) that their order was right. I know that orders got messed up more than u could count, and yes I did mess up some and I'm sorry for the ones I messed up but working all the hours I did 16 hours at a time ALL the time it got so stressful and somedays when customers would be waiting for thier food in the drive thru I literally burst out in tears because there was nothing I could do to speed things up no matter how hard I tried and people would say the meanest things but they didn't know what was going on and I knew that so that's how I kept my cool. Some nights it would be only 2 employees working the whole store and it royally stinked, because at first there was a limited midnight menu and the doors closed at 11pm which made things easier on the grill person because there is a lot A LOT! Of stuff to keep up with running the full menu. For example you have at least 50-60 individual items or more to keep up with for lunch stuff and at 2am when we switch to breakfast there is another 50-60 items that has to be all switched out. And at first we was on limited midnight menu, but a lot of customers complained they couldn't get double cheeseburgers at 1 in the morning so the owner thought it would help the business to cancell the limited midnight menu, which in reality slowed everything down even more because the guy in the grill 1 PERSON USUALLY, now had about

Lol what do you mean with "changing names", I knew how to make the coffee and if ppl threatened to kill you and said some of the things that they said to me, said it to you, you would be hurt to. But I'm thankful I don't work there anymore, God has blessed me and opened up doors for me to do alot of awesome stuff, so I'm not going to let people steal my joy. IDK you but I will pray that God blesses you. I was just answering someone's question why it is like it is and I was just saying what all went on, that's all, and yes I make my mistakes but everyone including you makes mistakes, but I was just saying what went on there, I thought the person asking the question might want to know from first hand experience. Have a nice day!:)

It was ridiculous how few employees there were at one point and idk but I would say its still bad. They had 18 employees one time to run everything 24/7 and most were in school and by law had to work certain hours which hurt us more. 18 people is not enough for 24/7 and that's how I got 50 hours overtime some paychecks and then I got fired the next week after getting a 1,000 dollar paycheck it was retarded. And then a few days after that happened I heard they had to literally close because they didn't have any employees to work a nightshift.

To work in a fast food restaurant, you really need alot of patience. Many customers are rude, demanding, and have no respect for the employees who actually do their jobs. At least the employees there aren't welfare riders, they at least try to make a living on their own. If you've never worked in a restaurant, try it on for size for a week (doubt most of you would last that long) see how mean the public can be. As for calling them nasty, why don't you look at yourself - chances are, you're one of the customers that expect them to bow down to you and forget all the other customers. All customers are equally important. Next time you go there, try smiling, being friendly to the one who waits on you. One smile leads to another.

Their food is nasty. The burgers are burnt so bad that their like charcoal patties. The buns are stale, no ketchup, mustard or onions the last time I ate there in May 2012 and never again. Went back to complain and was allowed to change out the nasty for so called fresh and it was just as nasty. Oh and yes I was pleasant to the employees.

I've been lucky, I haven't had any bad experiences there yet, but I've only eaten there a few times. They do always have a long wait in the drive-thru.
